OK, thought I would give it one last try before I threw in the towel, hoping three times is the charm. I took your Advice Funky (I hope)
Shadow Priest Quasiclass
======================
The Shadow Priest is a Cleric who while devoted to his deity, is fascinated by the realm of Illusion called Shadow Magic. He is willing to take time from his clerical calling to further study Shadow Magic. As a result he learns a few shadow spells in addition to his priestly collection. Devoting time to his distraction does not come without cost however. Once the Shadow Cleric becomes too close to the shadows, undead no longer fear him. He loses his ability to Turn Undead.
Requirements: Must have 10 levels of Shadowdancer and 15 levels of Cleric, Furthermore you must have the Trickery Domain as one of your Cleric Domains.
Statistics:
-Upon Achieving Shadow Priest status a Cleric loses his ability to Turn Undead
-Spell DCs for all spells are equal to 10 + spell level + (DEX modifierx9/10)
-For most spells, casterlevels and Spell penetration are equal to Cleric level + (Shadowdancer level/3)
-When calculationg level for the Shadow Evade ability. Level = Shadowdancer level + (Cleric level/3)
-The Shadow Priest gains the following spells at the following levels. In addition these spells are automatically Empowered and casterlevel = Cleric level + Shadowdancer level. Those spells include:
-----
4
-Shadow Conjuration
5
-Greater Shadow Conjuration
6
-Shades
7
-Shadow Shield

The idea is that while giving up casting power and his ability to Turn Undead the cleric gains some Direct Damage spells and a few Protective spells and is able to cast them better than average. In addition, his further study of Shadow Magic allows him to still somewhat increase his SD abilities.
