Hi, I don't thing i've played with you yet (I have certain bad habits that ruin my short term memory(hmmm if you destroy your short term memory for years, does that count as long term memory loss ?)), but I'm game for a ssith run tomorrow nite, I dont get home from work till 8:30 central, so I'd be a little late, but hopefully be around before you go thru the portal.
Still didn't get this done with you. Hoping to soon. I'd like a shot at the mino book down there (not to mention the great loot as well). The desert run you got us in on last night was wonderful. We not only got some great items (got my Mord's ring!!!), but was also extremely helpful in experience, since we'd never been. (Brought to light some serious gear change needs - apparently 30 reflex saves isn't high enough for the Living Sands? )
Not to hijack the thread, but I'm not sure what you're talking about chainlink. Do you mean because of the feats? I can take some of those, but not enough to raise all of my saves above 50 (I'd have to take a look to see what mine are now, but I think my reflex was 30, and it was my highest, IIRC). So is it down to items at that point? I have a Fort+9 ring, and have seen similar, but they don't have anything else on them, so I'd lose some AC and other resistances.
Saves are something I've never totally understood, even after looking at the wiki for some time.
Oh, and you mean saves > 50 by level 40, right? Not level 60?
Sorry I meant level 60 and thats including save bonuses from items worn, obviously in a lot of cases you're going to have one excellent save (reflex for dexers for example) and a couple of more sucky ones. People who build really good toons (and I can't class myself 100% there) optimise all of the saves.
Ah, that makes a little more sense then (and makes me feel a little better about my Staffmaster). Thanks for your info chainlink - definitely gives me something to shoot for when equipping and planning my toons.
