Don't forget to forward port 5121 on your router, otherwise no one will be able to join.

Well, Yue Green and myself played for a bit, got to the world map transition to the Inn and the game crashed.... Had to resart from the tutorial got to the same part with Yue and it crashed again.. However learned a few things for next time. SAVE, SAVE, SAVE Spoiled by persistance I forgot to save the game... when it crashed we had to resart, however from there out I saved the game. Also learned that Running a dedicated server using NWServer causes LLLAAAGGG when playing at the same time, we learned that you need to load a game from multiplayer. (this also means that when you transition an area your whole party transitions) Prolly gonna try to set up NWServer on the laptop if my wife will let me. Lastly I found out that if you do not have at least 2 Gigs of free space in the same drive your "My Documents" folder is in you will not be able to transition the world map past the first town. It will crash every time. It was a hell of alot of fn playing with HG peeps in NWN 2 , But it was a learning experince. iI exxpect next time will be much better "Reformatting my HD this week ( ~ DragonChyld

It is quite possible to run a game thru NWserver and play on a client at the same time, Funky and I have been doing since release and are very far into Act 3 atm.

Does each party member get up to three companions? Or is it only three companions total? How's xp split?

Three total, and 4 at some points. They do not affect xp gained. Funky
