My level 60 RDD Str-tank is looking for a regular Pyramid-run group. He has very good gear, with all the desired elemental and exotic immunities. A small team of 3 or 4 regulars is what I had in mind. My normal play times are weeknights: 4-10pm CET (2-8pm GMT or 10am-4pm EDT) and weekends (a bit more variable): 12-10pm (10am-8pm GMT or 6am-4pm EDT). My goal is primarily to find Pyramid Rings and Amulets, and of course nifty URs. Please feel free to post here or PM me.

Sounds interesting. I would bring my level 60 Sorc if it fits in.

I could try this with you. Lvl60 PM if you think he fits.
I can be on around 4pm GMT most weekdays.

I have a shifter I could bring, or a BFM but Firestarter tends to just lag the server out badly there with his firebrands. So much so that everyone has to relog every time I cast it.

PS: I can play 11:00 GMT until late usually.

I'm going to have to put this on hold. I have to be offline for 1-1.5 weeks after this weekend and the response to this thread was a bit slow to come about.
Hopefully I can get this going in mid-July.

Cimion PS: I can play 11:00 GMT until late usually. Firebrands won't lag the server any more than any other spell, and relogging doesn't help with server lag. What you are experiencing is graphics lag, which is corrected by relog. You may want to adjust your graphics card settings. Funky

I had hideous graphics lag in the pyramid and on dustbone runs when surrounded by lots of abimanders until I unticked the "Floaty Text Feedback" option (game options>feedback options). I think 'excluding combat info' from the combat log and turning down the settings in 'video options' can help a little too.

Thats the ticket in the pyramid, from someone that has done it over two dozen times, as well as gusting like mad to keep the clouds down even while you are fighting them if possible....not combat log really, just the floaty and the graphics...but more than anything the floaty numbers. Ive seen people have to wait a few min to get their "buffer" or whatever free of those (numbers) from kickback data even after they have turned them off. N.

I am gonna re-activate this thread, because it still applies. My luck finding capable Pyramid parties, during my play time has been a bit of a sore point with me lately. I make no excuses for the fact that I need rings, rings and more rings.
And so I am posting a standing offer to any parties looking for an experienced tank, well able to do this run (minimum 120% full-time elemental immunities) in a suitable, compact party, between the hours of 4-10pm CET (2-8pm GMT or 10-4pm ET) to feel free to contact me.
I very, very strongly prefer party sizes of 4 maximum (I consider 3 preferable, if the right 3 are available) in order to ensure good loot for the team.
Kind regards,
Trazik

My lvl 60 Cleric is still in need of pyramid energy so im willing to join! In my experience a druid and tank and cleric should be enough but a wall mage on the last area can also be realy helpfull.

My pally is about to hit 60, and has good equipment except for a slight lack of exotic immunities (not too bad, I have at least 25% in each in rings), and I've never been to pyramid! You want another tank on your team?
EDIT: My paladin just reached level 60 tonight. That's my first character ever to reach the maximum level.

Don't really need a second tank as part of the core group, sorry. That's not to say others are excluded, just that I am looking for a core group to do a few runs (i.e. get a few sucesses under our belts). Opening it to others at a later date is certainly possible, at the "cost" of diluting the opportunities to get nice loot. As Mescalino suggested, Tank + Cleric + Druid + Mage is one way to do it (a good way IMO). Look me up in game, Mescalino. Trazik

Muhaha, if I'm around I can use my double-demi cleric who can manage 100 immune/resist to all elements (although I'd have to fiddle around with my artifacts). I also have mages and AA's I can bring in at the end if needed. Of course the advantage with Divinity is that she just falls down if they get her but she'll be getting up again shortly after. You are correct in that you only need 3-4 people which would comprise a druid, cleric and a couple of tanks although they Black Pyramid seems to have been somewhat unstable recently if crash reports are to be believed.

Seeing as very few people play druids anymore, I'm bringing my old level 60 druid out of retirement. She's a little outdated though, as she was made prior to the hells and before legendary save feats came out.. ..back when druids were only as good as the number of epics they had and the only DC you cared about was that of your Bombardment. If i'm available I'll be happy to bring her along

I'm generally very interested in pyramid runs. The two most promising ones so far failed in the last room because of no wall mage (or because of no strategy) and on the 2nd map because somebody ran ahead unbuffed I can bring a variety of characters, in order of preference: caster bard, slinger (dex tank w/ aegis), druid, and if I must, I can dust off my sorc, too. All are level 59-60. Regards.
