Hey all, Had a great time out there yesterday too... Good to see all who made it Actually, it was also good to see those who didnt make it... Gegs and Simmone you'll probably be in range by next week... be cool to see ya there as well. As for timing.... Earlier definately works better for me, although it cuts in to the footy (meh... whatever). My weekend starts Thursday night and ends Saturday night so I just can't pull the big all nighter that day. If we could start a couple hours earlier that would be great. Anyway im usually on so I guess i'll just listen for the shout and look forward to seeing you there. Regards, Trubble

I was wondering now that I'm back - would it be more benefit if I built a Staffmaster of 15Wiz 25 Druid? I'd get the needed Epics and could always play a Dragon tank in-between ...

You'd get the needed epics true but would you be much of a tank?
I mean I guess it wouldn't be much fun just to stand around between buffs?
I still say we can do it without the Druid it'll just be a little harder

Dragons make wonderful tanks - well in a way ...
They are nigh indesctructible - but have horrible AB. As far as mob distractors (hey beat on me!) they work great. Due to only three forms per rest and their inability to use rez scrolls shifted, and their loss of uberness unshifted, they don't work very well as "the last man standing will rez the rest of yas". There's also issues with breach/mord/dispell proofing item abilities not carrying over into the shifted form, as well as amnesia issues w/o a certain Epic being taken. So as with all classes, there is a definate trade off. I believe the final question will really be the need for shunt in the deepest levels (8 & 9). Perhaps we can hear from parties having done those two levels with & w/o a Druid?

Well I have done Cania with a Druid and due to untimely deaths I did do parts of the run without Shunt, so as far as Cania is concerned at least I reckon it is doable without, as for Nessus I can only dream....lol

my pariah will have 90% immunities to everything but exotics IN NESSUS so as long as we can cast regenerate an dmonstrous regen on him and perhaps use the other tanks to block a few more guys we can do this. I would like to know th etime for tomorrow!

Anytime is good for me. Sorry for being AWOL, it was not without reason, but I am back now. Will try to get my Bane Knight to level 18 as recommended by halfwing, but no promises!

Between schoolwork & reincarnating my stable of Immo's, I haven't had much time for this excellent idea. Once all them Immo's get tweaked I'll have the time ...

Just an update: My Slinger is level 16.
I have missed the last 2 sessions (though I know they were short), and just want to make sure I am still in range.
This group was a blast to play with, but with reincarnation in place, seemed to thin out a little over the past few weeks.
It may be beneficial for those still interested to post their levels and quasi class. If some people are dropping due to other commitments, we can then find replacements.
Hope to see a large group this Saturday,
Gegnar

My Warchanter is 18. Need to get to 21 before Monday, as I might reincarnate him quick.
