Kobra requested my presence on the Kobold team, so I shall try to be there as my specialty - a Druid!

It seems the kobolds may be outnumbered. Sign me up for a kobold. By the way, because it was not mentioned, am I correct in assuming no items such as assassin scabbard and barb shapestrong token will be given?

Hmm battle of the crappy races, lets set some odds: According to D&D 3.5......... Your Basic Joe Goblin 5hp (1d8+1), 15 ac, Fort +3 Reflex +1, Will -1. CR 1/3 Your basic Joe Kobold 4hp (1d8), 15ac, Fort +2, Reflex +1, Will -1 CR 1/4 So after a few min of discussing with my fellow pen and paper DM's we have concluded that no one will win this, but since when has HG even closely followed pen and paper GL to the contestants and remember the only good kobold is a dead one.

Wish I could make this event but its my only day off from work this week and won't be home at all today. think I have in about 65-70 hours in at work this week. So I want to wish all the goblins the best of luck and crush some Kobold skulls!

The definitive conclusion has been reached:
Goblins 128 Kobolds 62
There were 9 goblins and 8 kobolds to start, but one of the goblins ran in cowardice halfway through the match.

Kobolds focused more on Rogues, while Goblins focused more on Bloodfire Mages, which turned out to be the deciding factor. We did have a single BFM, Kobra, but it was a pretty stark power imbalance. I brought a Druid for partybuffs, which turned out to be a bad idea since I never got to use those buffs - everyone was running too far, too fast. We got separated via porting very quickly, and several of us couldn't get the jumping boots to work. I personally couldn't get them to work for about 3/4 of the match, which kept me on the same tiny platform to be repeatedly killed. Bottom line... Kobolds had a lot of people who'd never been to Pillars before (myself included). In other words, we want a rematch!!
