Here's the finalized list of changes to class abilities coming next update. I know that the standard is that items not mentioned are not changed, and that I should probably wait for the detailed doc postings. I'm just so excited about a few of these enhancements that I just can't wait to confirm a few points: I am pleased, btw, that there is still some benefit (no matter how small) to the pure AA under the new scaled damages. And there is enough new power in the base feats that I am not concerned over the use of new items to improve the AA's damage potential. Are you ready to share which damage types will be made available on the new bows, or is that left to us to discover?

If not listed, it wasn't changed, either because it already scaled or isn't changeable. Total str bonus. Immunity stacks with itself, not dr. BOTH dr and immunity apply to damage received however. Yes. Still 10d6 min. DC is what enemies save against. Penetration is what is checked against their spell resistance. As to the bows, wait and see. Funky

Is there any changes planned for rangers? Beside some summon that require a 30 ranger lvls build + 20 LL (wich you're prolly never gunna see around), rangers are left behind each updates.
ie: lv30 ftr gets a damn lots of free feats, E dodge free, whetstone, some nice DR helmet.. Rangers gets what.. +2 ab bonus on racial enemies, some spells (if u pump up the base Wis, and FoM no longer works anyway :/), and some very old gear that is no where close to being as good as today's stuff (take a look at the robes lol.. and the rapier kind of suck now with Duelist's and Pallid's).
Since rangers arent a tumble CC, doesnt even get evasion, and require 25 lvls for the ''secret'' (thus making it impossible for em to get WM+Edodge, counceal n stuff), methink that ''secret'' could use some LL scaling as well, just like all other classes.

Rangers are already plenty powerful, which is why they didn't get any added love other than the summons. They will dontinue to be looked out for in legendary areas, and may get increases later if needed. I'm still more concerned about monk at the moment, however... Rangers also suffer from a deplorable lack of hookable abilities. Of course, if you want to suggest something, feel free. Funky

With all the crit immune stuff in LL areas, kama monks are getting uber. Edodge, counceal, DW ac at 130ish, 10 attacks a round.. oh yeah and the new SR. Rangers cant even get enough Ac to DW anymore in the new LL areas. Almost everything is crit immune in beholders and desert.
Anyway, reducing the new summon's level req to 45 could help a bit. Giving rangers a new empowerd rapier (adding some ele dmg to it, like fire/cold) at LL55 or 60, would b nice too.

Eh, gotta disagree re: crit immunes. Only 2/5 enemy types are crit immune in Beholders. And rangers can empathize there as well. Very few in illithids and ssithraks, mainly bosses. Desert, sure, there are a fair number of crit immunes, but mainly because it makes sense for them to be. And devariels aren't. In any case, there WILL be a fair number of crit immunes in the hells, though not as bad as the abyss, most likely, so there is some validity to what you are saying. Monks I'm mainly looking to give them another interesting ability via their healing ability, which is night worthless at the moment. Rangers I've been wanting to tie something in with their favored enemy, maybe something with wirlwind? The feat effect itself is hardcoded, but I can check wehther they have it and alter the whirl accordingly. Also note that rangers get empathizables in many LL areas. The suggestion for dropping the summon level isnt necessarily a bad one, I'll think that one over again. Funky

I have some thoughts about changes to the shifter class, based on mainly playing that Iron Golem - the poison gas attack could be given a substantially higher DC and some sort of damage could be added. Rakshasa- would be nice if caster level was shifter level + LL Risen Lord- would be nice if the whirlwind feat of this form had some sort of special ability similar to what the other melee classes have. These changes would mainly make more of the shapes interesting.

Rak spells will most likely never be increased beyond 40, though I may edit them for penetration purposes at some point. I've already edited all of the abilities I could track down with ease, though I should be able to hunt down the iron golem breath at some point. Interesting idea with the risen lord. Funky

While we're on the subject of shifters I don't suppose you'd be interested in scaling the wyrmling breath DC with legendary levels . .

Rangers,
I love useing them in RP servers and while summons seem like a nice change how about helping them for what they're made for. A bonus while dualwielding? One of the funnset builds I did on a PvP Server was a strength Double axe Ranger WM SD Scythe crits for 7 attacks. Maybe for ever strength mod over 5 you get bonus to natural AC or someodd.

Any plans to change Paladins soon? Status quo, they have a semi-neat attack that can do quite a bit of damage, but usable only every, minimum, 4 minutes (which is then reset once killed), and only three smites that aren't particularly useful against mobs. As is, their AB suffers, and AC doesn't do too well, either, and the buffs don't do a lot otherwise. Divine Might is nice, but, again, AB problems already hurt it, and the Shield is nigh-useless.
