Are there guild events that aren't PvP based?

The Guild event in place isn't necessarily PvP based. Unless something has changed since I've been around for one, you can go through the entire match without one player-to-player conflict.
Most of the fun in being in a guild, however, comes from the fact that you can PvP on a dominantly PvE PW.

Depends on how they set them up. In the past player killing generally dragged the party down in terms of points. But, Funky has been trying to balance the game for players that want to score points for their PK efforts. There have been alot of real bloodbath type events lately, mixed with more traditional low PvP games for variety. Once they get the AC dropper sorted out (its been wonky as of late) you can expect events to be fairly violent....especially if I am playing.
