I've noticed that using ENABLE_PERMANENT_CHANNEL_MUTING and setting SHOUT to TRUE blocks player shouts as expected and desired, but also seems to block the channel for creatures using ActionSpeakString("my shout", TALKVOLUME_SHOUT)
I assume this is necessary to control summons/familiars, but the comment above it says it only affects players and not DMs, perhaps a comment saying it affects everything except DMs would clarify it for future users?
If there is a work around to still block only players (in all forms), that would be very useful to those of us using NPCs to heckle (I mean offer supportive comments) to players via script.
