Boosheid is Dutch for Anger.
I originally made a pure barbarian, that was actually doing quite well, since it had nice DR. That was all though.
It was my fist immortal, but I played it before I cared about saves, AC and overal effectiveness and survivability.
It had maximized craft armor!
And no tumble . . .
In other words, I'm very glad I can reïncarnate this giant axe-wielding embodiment of rage.
This is what I had in mind:
Class progression: 1 MNK / 18 BB / 1 F / 20 BB
Race: Human PT - Earth Genasi
(or Minotaur, but that would only provide power attack, early large appearance and no acid vulnerability at the cost of extra bludgeoning resistance)
Starting ability scores / with subrace:
Str 16 / 18
Dex 16 / 16
Con 16 / 18
Int 8 / 8
Wis 8 / 6
Cha 8 / 6
First 4 stat increases into Con, rest into Str.
Pre-Epic Feats: Blooded, Luck of Heroes, Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Exotic), Weapon Focus, Two-weapon Fighting, Improved Two-weapon Fighting, Iron Will, Lightning Reflexes.
Fighter Bonus Feat: Ambidexterity.
Barbarian Epic Bonus Feats: Epic Prowess, Epic Weapon Focus, Mighty Rage, Armor Skin.
Epic Feats: Improved Critical, Great Strength, Great Strength, Epic Damage Reduction, Epic Damage Reduction, Epic Skill Focus (Parry).
Legendary Feats: Legendary Skill Affinity (Tumble), Legendary Weapon Focus, Legendary Reflexes, Legendary Will, Legendary Luck, Battle Hardened, Battle Hardened.
Skills to maximize: Discipline, Parry, Tumble and Listen.
Some statistics:
Str: 16 base + 2 sub + 16 increase +2 feats + 4 barbarian + 12 bonus = 52 (+21)
Dex: 16 base + 12 bonus = 28 (+9)
Con: 16 base + 2 sub + 4 increase + 4 barbarian + 12 bonus = 38 (+14)
Int: 8 base + 12 bonus = 20 (+5)
Wis: 8 base - 2 sub + 12 bonus = 18 (+4)
Cha: 8 base -2 sub +12 bonus = 18 (+4)
Fortitude: 15 base + 10 epic + 5 legendary + 4 saves + 14 con + 20 bonus = 68
Reflex: 8 base + 10 epic + 5 legendary + 13 saves + 8 dex + 20 bonus = 64
Will: 8 + 10 epic + 5 legendary + 13 saves + 4 wis + 20 bonus = 60
AB: 19 base + 10 epic + 15 legendary + 7 feats + 21 str + 20 bonus = 92
DR ("naked", with fully buffed strength): 10/- barbarian + 6/- feats + 10% str + 10% feats physical. An extra 30% bludgeoning.
AC: 10 base + 2 armor skin + 12 tumble + 20 dodge + 13 medium armor + 17 enhancement + 16 shield + 16 natural + 16 deflection = 122
Attacks: 4 base + 1 haste + 2 weapon = 7 per round
Crits: 19 base - 2 keen - 2 imp crit = 15-20/x3
30% acid vulnerable, before dragon blood.
I've read somewhere, that Barbarians will get critical hit immunity when raged. It may just have been my imagination, so that is why this one still has parry. Is this true, or not?
Any suggestions? Comments? Questions? (Mistakes? )
