2. What are your opinions on silent, empowered, and maximize in the hells? I have the same question. I very soon have the option to take great wis 7 and 8 or empowered (and maximize?) on my kenku druid. Would a hells party expect me to have the 20 empowered healing circles I could put on level 8? Level 8 would otherwise provide frailty, fods and still harms. Regards! EDIT I just now finished reading the previous post, I think I'm gonna take the great wis feats. EDIT END

I don't think you'd want to Empower (or Maximize) Healing Circles anyway - just the "normal" and Still ones give full hp's to everyone I've seen when cast. And the regen is an HG thing, that I sort of doubt takes Empower into consideration. I could be mistaken though. Funky or Acaos could probably say for certain.

Healing circle is the bomb.

So with kenku subbie should I take abjuration or conjuration focus as feats? (kenku has the sf abjuration) Also, should I go for 4 epic spells (evo, transm, abjur and conj)?

personally i am taking necro over conj after have played a druid and got to know Hg a little, finding out a better dc on my fod would be much better than the dc on my bombs..as fods don't break loot and kill spawns on a failed save, as far as empowered maximized spell feats go i would suggest taking either if you can as i have had experience in hells with a druid and wish i had more slots for my healing circles and not the reg heals as its frustrating to have to heal a dying party one at a time. but this is all IMO and what ya do in the end if up to you. as far as healing all they way there are exceptions especially with a rdd tank in your group as they have way too many hp to heal with one circle

I think i'll still get the conjuration over necro cause i wont use much fods, i know it. I decided to take the abjuration focus as feat route cause it saves one feat and i'll be short on feats anyway cause i' getting 4 epic spells. And i can wait til lvl 40 to get the conjuration focus. What do you think peeps should I even take 4 focuses or just 3? What about CC (combat casting) with this build.. is it so needed or can i leave it away?

i got a druid I'm currently leveling up to 60 and when hes done he has 4 epics, all saves around 70 with save feats, as a caster i don't think they are short on feats unless you are taking combat feats for some reason . and i went with necro as not just for fods which i use alot, especially since shifters got their spikes nerfed and it helps alot against tears, dust to dust is the other reason i took it as in many occasions has saved a party in hells and other wise. I personally don't take CC or ICC simply because -4 to my concentration isn't gonna hurt, and i have grown into using the defensive casting stance so you could try that if ya want which frees up 2 feats. I'd lean more toward 4 epics than 3 I'm going evo, trans, necro, abj and all 4 will be helpful when playing a druid. Taking conj over necro would be fine if you are not planning on using your druid in hells, as you don't cast bombs and the conceal epic isn't as useful as dust for HELLS.

Actually my druid uses bombs pretty regularly in the Hells. So when I remake mine, I will be taking Legendary Spell Focus: Conj, to get them to work even better. The divine damage from them is really, really nice in a lot of layers. I agree that the Conceal epic is pretty worthless, and hardly ever even cast it because of it's shortish duration compared to Mass Conceal.
Anyway, just wanted to say that bombs can certainly be used in the Hells, especially in a party who is good about pulling mobs back rather than rushing forward, so that you don't run the risk of loot-breaking.

At the minute the only summons worth blowing a feat on is the Balor, this may change in the future though.

I'm back and im going to look at the druid class once again.
I miss playing on funky's little server, and miss the people here, you guys where a blast back in the day.
I'll rebuild the druid once again, and update this post. I need to overlook a lot of things and will be talking to some friends to catch up on the new LL area's, so I know what the hell I'm talking about later on atleast.
But its a pleasure to be back and I'll be redoing this druid build for optimal performance in LL area's. That is the goal of funky's server it always seemed that max stats payed off but never sacrifice extra goodies like UMD, I want that in my druid build now. I've been experimenting while I've been away, and know alot more about D&D and the 3.5 ruleset was a blast to learn a little.
Been playing NWN2... The game is so sexy....
Anyways, if your looking for me in game, I won't be in there for a couple more days until I figure out some things. So just send me msg's on the forum and I'll check them.

ok from what I know not that much has changed since I played a while back. So the Rogue Druid is my new build im going for on this server to start with.
There is a second way to make a druid and I'll post that build later. It will be based around being a druid caster. Which of course you want 1Monk, 1Wizard, 38Druid. The wizard and monk will give you the extra cheese you need to keep protected at those higher levels with your spells.
You'd wear a robe with no shield and just a staff. That way it retains your monk bonus AC you will get from your wisdom stat.
