I just got my modified build (sacrificing defense for damage multiplier) to 60, and it is currently tagged through Stygia. The versatility of being able to switch between threading and melee is what makes this build fun to play. I will admit though with the recent changes to the way threading works, the damage output is reduced due to a lack of focus in wis. Reflecting on the build, I would probably cut two great dex feats to allow for legendary fortitude and will (replacing the epic versions with their standard ones to do so) to allow more buffer space for Hells penalties. When fully buffed, this character has very little trouble hitting anything in melee, and can even realistically toggle on improved expertise while still making solid hits. Doing all of this while having guaranteed damage every round makes it all the more worthwhile. I will most likely be removing the str version of this build and redesigning it with more focus on the lifethreading ability. Image displayed of demigod stats, AC is with UR gear and Hells set sickle.

Skills listed in order of usefulness: Concentration (casters) Tumble Discipline Perform (If a bard) Heal (If a caster cleric) Animal empathy (If a druid/ranger) Open lock/disable traps/search (If a rogue or assassin with a rogue level.) UMD (you only need 33 for scrolls, will need a little more if your charisma is under 10. If you have spare skills points feel free to max it.) Pickpocket (Dexers only need 10-20 depending on what kind of shield they use, str builds using full plate/tower will need the full 43. Taunt (useful for breaking GS and lowering AC, will need the full 63 ranks to affect casters) Lore (need about 50 to ID level 40 items, some illithid gear and most URs need about 60.) Concentration (non casters, for resisting taunt) You should be able to figure out what skills are class skills, and invest appropriately.

Modified original post to add demigod character sheet. After playing it through Nessus I would say it is a very solid build, even without the monk level. It got a couple dozen killing blows, and suffered deaths only at the hands of pit fiends (which will always knock this build down). The sheer amount of damage this build is capable of, even without focusing in wisdom, is sheerly amazing (I was nailing failed save damages of 500+ with the aid of a lasher to increase vulnerabilities).

Hiyas Balduvard,
Was just wondering on your insight into switching from the original build's splash Monk to the latest build's 20/20 composition. I'm thinking the AC on a splash Monk must be very impressive - what is the AC on the Splash? Obviously you didn't need the extra though as the 20/20 reached the HG apex. What robes & shield did you use in Nesus?
Thanks,
Kaldair

Splashing monk doesn't increase your AC by any if you're wearing a shield (at least not with this particular build; would be more helpful as a wis threader), and the goal of the build was to maximize the damage--which requires 20/20. With a monk level you could opt to use a torch instead of a shield (and there are some nice torches). I used some BUR robes and Glimmering Glint.

Congratulations! Obviously a fighter type Lifethreader can do well on HG. I am very jealous, and very curious as I am using a wisdom based threader. What were your tactics, i.e. placement, frequency of improved expertise, and straight up tanking?

My only tactics:
Kill everything. Don't die.
You should be able to figure out how I do both.
