Good reactions pretty much negate the downside of not having uncanny dodge. Just be really fast about keeping yourself attacking stuff at all times.

Yup, that's pretty much been my experience as well. Funky

BTW I finally remembered why I opted against shard, it was a feat thing, just wanted the half-kyton feats more, and valued the speed less. Why? It is nice for running, but it causes problems with spawning, which I do alot of, and I can usually just GS if I get in a tight spot. SR, also not that great in endgame, though nice when leveling to an extent. Funky

Funky, (or anyone else who can help me) I'm building my second pixie bard atm, and following this build. I hit level 13 last night but couldn't take weapon master. So I went back and checked my feats and skills and was aghast to find i'd only taken 3 points in intimidate(1 click too few!!). So I took the 4th point when i leveled expecting to get weapon master at level 14 and hoping I hadn't screwed the build up completely. I carried on and hit lvl 14 but still no option to take weapon master.... My question is do you have to take all 4 points in intimidate before achieving the feats? Or is it something stupid that i've forgotten to do like another alignment change or something? I'm hoping that worst case is I delevel back to 10 and take the point before the last feat. I could really do without having to start all over again. Any help would be appreciated, Regards, Trubble

In order to become a weapon master, you need: 4 Intimidate
Dodge Mobility Expertise Spring Attack Weapon Focus Whirlwind.

Hi, Thanks Unnone, but that's not really what I was asking. I know the requirements for WM, and also where my mistake was made (misclicked and ended up with only 3 points of intimidate). I have all the feats required. Let me rephrase the questions... - Is there any significance to the 4 points of intimidate being taken at level 5?
- Why if I take the 4th point of intimidate at level 13, after taking the last feat "Whirlwind" at level 12, am I not eligible for WM at level 14?
- And lastly... How far back do I need to go to rectify this and still get my WM levels in pre-epic?
Hope that's a little clearer. I guess i'll wait a while and if push comes to shove i'll just delevel and make sure I get all 4 points at level 5 this time . Thanks again. Regards, Trub

Nope, you can take em at any level, once you get 4 and prerequisite feats, you can get WM levels. - Why if I take the 4th point of intimidate at level 13, after taking the last feat "Whirlwind" at level 12, am I not eligible for WM at level 14?

My best answer is to check again the list given unnone, you're missing a feat. If you took Whirlwind attack, then it must be either Weapon Focus (in a melee weapon) or Expertise. The other requirement is a BAB of 6. @level 14 you must have reached it.

Either that or you might have a negative ability modifier that will require you to take more intimidate to reach 4. Check your character sheet to be sure what your intimidate is at rather than when you level up.

neg modifiers should not effect it, and you have to have expertise to get whirlwind (unless you got a BURR that igave you that for free) It is very most likely you didn't pick a weap focus as atomic first mentioned

DOH!! Fixed it... Thanks for the input, fortunately the problem was just me being a dumb***. Didn't know about the charisma modifier thing, so the 3 I saw on my character sheet was from that... I guess i never took any at all... Delevelled, took the 4 points and whirlwind again and funnily enough i'm now a weapon master. So, my apologies and thanks again for the input. Regards, Trubble
