I've gotten my PM to Char lvl 38. I have quite a few skill points left over and I looking for input as to where to put them. So far I have put as many points as I can into Conc, Disc, Tumble, Spellcraft, and PP. I have also put a few into OL and Spot. Any other suggestions? Appraise, since even a few points can help in the long run when selling things.

Any chance this build could be updated by some of the recent posts? Is paladin now definitely preferred over fighter?

The fighter bonus feat is unneeded. Saving throws, however, are always good. Actually you could just keep a Cloak of Worldliness handy if all you want are the proficiencies, but personally I'm a fan of not dying randomly. Yes, paladin is preferred over fighter here. In this system, since you have the option of getting a +6 cha modifier bonus from items, and you can easily balance your abilities to have at least a +2 modifier from the start, it should really come as no surprise that when you can, you should splash the 1 level for the +8 bonus to saves.

I have been usiing this build, with pally lvl taken. I am now at lvl 39 and trying to do Lolth runs and I can't seem to do much damage to anything. Is this noraml and about when will I be more of a contribution to the group? My Wail DC is 34 or 39 (I can't remember), MS doesn't do the divine dmg as other mages. I feel weak and underpowered. Any suggestions or am I being paranoid?

Dont worry Sithdad - it does get better when you get into the mid immo lvls. You have to be very high lvl to do much with wail in Manatakloss. You will do better with horrids / fods for the moment. Empowered FoD can really ruin some of the drow's afternoons and horrid does at least some damage.

I did notice that fod and horrid was doing on average 100+, but the other basic offensive spells were sickly weak. I've seen a few lich's on Desert runs and have seen them wipe up. I just wanted to make sure I hand't screwed something up. I've followed the build exactly and things were doing well until the drow. Thanks.

Heya guys!!! Can a pixie become lich?? Would the appearance change with the items, and later passing through the arch??? And would the speed be maintaned?? I found it very annoying the speed decrease that PMs suffer, and haven´t found any purpose for that other than the inconvenience... Would that be a good suggestion to Funky in a future update, or its meant to be like that for some reason I´m missing???
A great hug 2u all.

Your character model would change to that of a regular Lich, and, by extension, you would have a speed reduction. However, to my knowledge, you'd still retain the other benefits.
Oh, wow. Updating this is going to be some work.

One to unlock NPC voice sets is there, I like the Wrath, Lich, and Lich Karlat voicesets for my PMs. ~DL

In the proccess of making a Genie PM. Only lvl 38 atm and looks quite a bit different than the builds posted here, feat and stat wise. So far he seems to be pretty impressive. At work so i cant post all the details right now, but if anyone is interested I can do so soon. If irc my wail at 30th lvl was 44ish and should max out at 59 @ 60th. I started with Int24, Con20, Cha12. All other stats were at minimum possible. Used Gnome for starting race. Anyway like I said if you want the full build let me know.
*Edit* Just noticed darkfyre's divine pixie pm. My build is very similar to his with the exception of a few feats.

Heya! With the update 2-24, the transmute barrier is getting his duration changed.Does that mean that it will last much less for palemasters? Or, if im not confused, every round lasts 10sec, meaning that a build 9WIZ/1PAL/50PM, wich has a caster lvl non-necro of 25, will have about 25 rounds = 4 min and 10s? Sure thing only is that it will last longer for wizzies...

Sure thing only is that it will last longer for wizzies... Each round is 6 seconds; caster level for the barrier duration is calculated based on your control class including legendary levels (your casting class will always be your control class, since you need 25 levels in your casting class to get the epic at all). A level 40 pure wizard or sorcerer will have the barrier last 40 * 6 = 240 seconds, which is 4 minutes (the same as the old duration). A level 60 pure wizard or sorcerer would reach 6 minutes duration, the maximum. Since pale masters can have at most 50 PM levels, they would cap at 5 minutes duration. Acaos
