Might want to wait to 40 to take your monk level and max discipline and take 40 in tumble. Even though most dexers don't get discipline as a class skill its still pretty easy to boost it it to 79 (whats needed so far)

Theres no need as rangers get discipline as a class skill.

This is really minor but I now always put at least one point of search in all my build, just to find the hidden knob to get to levitation ring. I used to play with Flik now and again and let me tell you, he absolutely rocked (Not that his ego needs the boost ) The combo of dual wielding with rangers blades (rapier crits) is lethal to all crittable mobs. This is a great build if youre fairly new to server, as there is no secret race required. You'll still have to find the blades, but you know they exist, and that removes the problem of finding rapiers.

Can anyone see any potential pitfalls in using Halfing and Wraith for this build? You can go with the following.. Str 8 (5) Dex 18 (21) Con 16 Int 12 (13) Wis 12 and ignore charisma.. Would using halfling cause some sort of problem with using rapiers (medium weapons on small race) or is that overwritten by Wraith? Thanks in advance.

Do you miss the SC with this build? My choice (although I haven't played my Ranger yet) came down to offense, and going with WM, or defense, and going with Shadowdancer and Self Conceal. Do you find the defense to be okay with this build, or would you prefer to go the SC route?

You cannot use halfing subs for this build - they uses medium weapons two-handed, thus they cannot dualwield. Wraith is a nice subrace, but the lack of usefull bonus feats really hurt, since you already have to waste 2 epic feats to get all the wm requirements, toughness, improve crits and wpn finesse. Thanks Evelynn.. I tested using Halfing as Race and Wraith as Subrace simultaenously and it seems I can wield two rapiers. Must be a Wraith thing. I'm hoping I still get small stature bonuses too, as they're listed as a feat.

Um....why is the build gone? Or is it just me? When I click this link from the Character Build area, the first post is fusa's comment about waiting til 40 to take monk...
Am I alone in noticing this? Something in my URL not right?

Something in my URL not right? The build is definately not there... I wish I could have seen it, too. Well, I hope Evelynn puts it back ~DragonLance_007

It was a really good build from what I saw. I saw it in action too, for the most part, on run to Lolth. I finally got my thri-kreen book, and was ready to make this build. Too bad i didn't print it off. Is there some reason this was deleted? If so, could you even just PM the build to those interested Evelynn? (And you can count me among those interested)

Yes, but what is the build? I know the level breakdown, but not sure of feats taken, skill points used, etc. I'm guessing the level breakdown was 6 Ranger->7 WM->6 Ranger->1 Monk->20 Ranger, but don't know for sure. And did it take all of the "saving throw" feats? I can muck my way through something instead of copying it item-by-item, and don't mind doing so, unless it's going to royally screw me up in the end. IIRC the wisdom for this build was 12, is that right? Or was it 14 to cast level 4 spells? All ability points went to dex IIRC too.

I will be posting my Nature's Fury build, though I will call it something else, this weekend it is somewhat similar to this except it is 25Ranger/10SD/5Harper Scout. It is not the same, but in case ev dosent repost it peeps can have another option.
