I'm starting to feel the need for something harder to kill than a mage, and I ditched my SD build after learning that the AC bonus wouldnt add much because the boots available alraedy had alot of dodge AC.
So here's my new build idea. People who, like me, are noobs on this server, please dont go out and make this build thinking its great or anything.
Fighter16/rogue19/Harper Scout5.
Derazzwhatevera Dwarf (the one with +2 dex, +2 int, and blind fight for free)
dex 20, finishes at 54, take on all stat boosts
con 18
int 14
(if I had tiefling or wraith subrace I would use them over halfling base, but I feel I need to make at least one melee in order to get some subraces. I'm not even going to imagine the ultra rares ATM)
Level order:
lvl 1 rogue
2-9 fighter
10-20 rogue
21 HS
22-25 fighter
26-31 rogue
32-35 HS
36-38 fighter
39 rogue
40 fighter
Pre Epic feats:
Luck of heroes
toughness
iron will
alertness
great fortitude
dodge
energy resistance (for lack of anything better, could use for exotic weapons)
5 fighter bonuses:
Weapon finesse
weapon focus
expertise
improved expertise
improved critical
1 rogue bonus:
Improved evasion
Epic Feats:
great dexterity 1-3
self concealment 1-4
2 harper bonus:
great dexterity 4-5
3 rogue bonuses:
defensive roll
epic dodge
Slippery Mind
4 fighter bonuses:
Epic weapon focus
Armor Skin
Epic Prowess
Epic toughness (for lack of anything better, could replace 2 fighter lvls for 2 rogue lvls for 1d6 more sneak attack)
Legendary Feats:
Self Concealment 5
Great Dexterity 6-10
Epic Will
AB with mundane weapon that is focused in: 55 (this is probably low, but hopefully not terrible)
AC should be good, and combined with self concealment should make the character hard to hit.
Will be able to get all the skills listed in the good building guide that classes allow for. (disc, concentration, tumble, OL, DT, search, PP, hide for self concealments etc)
HP: About 744 naked
Saves naked:
Reflex: Very high
Fort: 37
Will: 21 (very bad, hopefully slippery mind will help)
I think I got everything right, but there are probably a few typos or miscalulations in there.
The reason I posted it here was for comments and advice, so feel free! And please let me know if its utter rubbish too...
I have one question to ask, what would be a good weapon to use? I have heard that good rapiers and kukris are very hard to find, so it would be better to use handaxe or shortsword as a starter, and then remake with a better subrace and rapier/kukri. Any thoughts?
