You get the increase on the next level. Fixed the problem with the build as posted.

Unless i did something completely wrong, not enough skill points to get ESF Listen, and have the skill point layout posted at the end of 40. (Just hit 40, non-immo).
Edit: Just read page 2 where it shows that as well. Guess it's time to reinc.
Also, seems saves are off for level 40. Might be me looking at it wrong though.

You get extra skill points for being a barbarian control class in legendary levels.

Been playing a version of this build now to level 47. I think its a lot of fun, but I think for a new player having the option to wear heavy armor would make a big difference to the playability of the character. I dropped toughness and picked up the heavy armor feat with this in mind.

I had two questions here if anyone would please!
I am currently playing this build and at Level 30. I am looking to upgrade my SubRace and was curious if you could suggest the best subraces for each tier beyond the base of Gnoll, so we know what to be aiming for.
And two, will a build up to Level 80 be added to this with the LL expansion or?

Here are some good race options
Dwarf: Battlerager (UR) Dwarf: Howler (BUR) Half-Elf: Wemic (BUR) Half-Orc: Juggernaut (BUR) Human: Stinger (UR) Any: Kolyarut (BUR) Any: Maelephant (BUR)
This is just some quick picks that should have easily work.
Note: To unlock UR subraces you need a L50+ toon and to unlock BUR subraces you need a L60+ toon

With regard UR and BUR would you be willing to quick go through that list you provided and just place them in order of worst to best for the build so I can just aim for that, or the step under it? Versus, say, taking the 4th best option of the BURs you suggested? I would greatly appreciate that if at all possible.

The original Giant of Torm is posted on the forums and is with Maelephant. A couple posts down Tyran also posts a Stinger version. It would be quite time consuming to determine exactly what is best, but I'd guess Maelephant to be the best for the build since that is the one Tyran used. Maelephant also is going to be considerably cheaper then Koly which is likely the second best race for a Barb like this.

Where are these located? Why is a better version for the build cheaper than the second best? Haha. Thank you all so much for the help! I really appreciate it.

He means cheaper in that Kolyarut is a more sought after subrace than Maelephant so the price paid in time, gold, or trade would likely be lower for Maelephant. The Maelephant build is likely listed under the Base build section under the barbarian sub section. It may also be listed on the HG Wiki which also will list these sub races stats and bonuses so you can decide what race(s) would work best for you.

Stinger is pretty darn good. The dwarf races can also be used. You could also do gnoll with dragon blood for cleave. Maelephant is one of the best because this build has fully functional terrifying rage, but you'd need to be able to use BUR races to choose that (need a level 60 character).

If I buy the Stinger, what must I do once I hit 50 to use it and get going again? If I do the Stinger at 50 and then purchase Mael or anything else, can I immediately do that at 60? Or how would this work? I apologize for all the questions and very much appreciate the time and information you all are dedicating towards my assistance. Truly.

As of this second (just tested), you still need a second book to upgrade from one tier to another. So, you would need to use the book and get another copy. If you already have stinger, all you need to do is meet the UR race and when you make your reincarnation character you need to have the extra book in your inventory when you talk to the reincarnation ped/light.
There was some talk of getting rid of the extra book requirement but that has not been implemented as of yet.

So two copies of stinger and two of Mael? Or just one of each and one of any kind from the same tier?
How quickly could I go from gnoll to stinger to Mael? As quick as I gain the levels or what?
