do we want to stop raising craft armor and wep at 40 ?? or are we going to be able to get those to 80? The maximum ranks you can get in any skill (at level 60) is 63. This can be boosted by gear/bard song/legendary skill focus to a maximum cap of +50. (63+50=113) Epic Skill Focus(+10) can be used to boost beyond this cap in order to get > 120 for the full +3 ab or ac. With most builds with Craft Weapon or armor you either dump 40 points for the +1, or go for 63 points for +2 when you get bard song (usually gives roughly +20 skills) edit: Regarding this build, it looks like Khan just updated it to mention maximizing both CraftA and CraftW in legendary levels. Also, this build has quite a high INT score, which means that you would not need ESF in CraftA or CraftW to reach 120 with the right gear and bard song (your INT modifier - which is 9 in Khans screenshot - is added to Craft Armor and Weapon skills).

I think I originally left out craft weapon because I was unsure about the number of skillpoints you get. I recalculated the skillpoints and decided that you DO have enough to max it while leveling. thanx about the craft skills, the thing is, you can get only 63 base points. add in intelligence and bard song and you will quite surely hit the 80 mark, granting you additional AB and AC. should you gather enough gear to get a huge bonus to CW and CA, you could even reach 120 for yet another point of AB and AC. this is why you take the maximum possible: so that you can possibly get more than just 1 point out of it. you will end up with 63 discipline 63 parry 63 listen 63 craft armor 63 craft weapon 23 UMD 30 tumble and 38ish concentration one reason not to show the final skill ranks is that some people might get confused by ablity score bonuses. with 68 strength (a modifier of 29) your discipline, without gear, will show up as 92. your listen with 18 wisdom shows up as 67, but you took the maximum in both skills - kind of confusing, no?

When was your last bard level and how many points did you take on it? Tumble is also not a class skill for anything except Bard and for non class skills the max you take it to is (level+3)/2. This build takes its final Bard level at 20 and if you max Tumble then to 23 you won't be able to add points into Tumble until level 45 I believe.

yes if you are reading the build sheet it says maximize tumble when no tumble is available, no one else notice this? From this point on, leveling is quite straightforward. Each level will be XDD. The skills you maximize are discipline, tumble, listen, parry and persuade. tumble is not an xdd skill!

As noted, if you maxed Tumble on your last bard level (level 20), you'll be able to take it in later LLs. You'll still want another 7 points in LLs to make it to 30 tumble, and you should be able to start taking those at Level 45, taking 1 point every 2 levels.
As for running the build through the chamber and editing it so that you can say exactly what levels you can take Tumble on...I don't know if MK even still reads the forums anymore, and in any case I don't see why. Just take tumble whenever presented the option until you have 30 ranks, for +6 AC.
