It does fit similarly with Desert though Desert does have a purpose of the ruins but is more frequently loot and experience. I don't see much a difference but if the recent run feeds could highlight those including Feywild might be nice and maybe it does and I just have yet to notice. Im mostly rambling and indifferent so please feel free to relize you wasted time reading my post here.

I'd just like to throw my penny in... Was playing there earlier with Rain, Egg, Ebony__Ivory and Leto, and we took a high level party along: One level 57, and the rest of us kitted with level 60s... a Dex Assassin (the 57), a Strength Assassin, and the rest Spellcasters. Obviously, we decided to head down to the deepest levels as soon as possible, fighting our way through the levels of each Plane in order (under the watchful eye of Acaos!) Gotta say that there's some twisted enemies down there... and if you are going to be playing a tank, all I can say is.. be prepared. All four of the planes looked beautiful... buuuuut, you really do need to bring out your sunglasses for the Plane of Air... Lost on the Air Plane Oh, and if you really can't be bothered to head down there, DO bare in mind that on our first trip through one of the Deep Planes, we managed to find three gems... one of which was a 16. And that was in the aformentioned party of 5. One thing though... for those characters without the Wall and Fire rings (of which, now there are many), I'm guessing there's going to either be a lot of reincarnation, or more likely trades/scrounging for those lovely 35 weapons... I forecast that prices are on the UP!! Good work. RoCK

The best way to navigate the Plane of Air is with your minimap.
Thanks for the compliments, Acaos

If the mobs respawn quickly and there's no one-time triggers, like mini-bosses, loot bags, destroyable cannons, then I guess it isn't that big of a deal. I just assumed that there was. I guess there's no "completed" status either...similar to feywild.

That's correct, the Elemental Planes are exactly like the Feywild in that respect. Basically, we now have dedicated leveling/soloing areas for levels 40-45, 45-50, 50-55, and 55-60 which you can enter relatively quickly, play around in, and then leave any time you wish.

Even though I haven't visited the elemental planes yet, I'd like to thank everyone who's worked on these and the feywild areas. Especially for hc toons the ability to level and get some loot (hey, I've even found two URs while wandering around with my hc staffy in feywild) soloing after immo is huge.
Thanks a lot.

A heartfelt thanks echoed here, the ability to get something done when no runs going on that match your chars is great.

With regard to wall-passing (get yer minds out of the gutter ) and fire-walking ... and Ring of he Planewalker ... any plans to add these properties? I guess someone had to ask. I know this makes the ring even more powerful, but so this has happene to Planewalker subby.

There is one reason to have the elemental planes on the quest list: It takes a consumable key to get in, and if you don't have one and want to get in quickly (maybe you only have a very limited time to play at that moment) it would be nice to see if the place is already open on some server. --Arek

Great job on the place. I have only seen the Air Domain, but i went down to the deep layer with my BFM and I came across a crazy critter that was immune to everything except possibly one element, which of course i didn't have! Will be great fun. Thanks dev team!

Are Wall-passing and Fire-walking properties going to be added to the Amulet of Adaption or rare amulets equivalent to those that grant levitation and water breathing? (don't think i've seen the water breathing one, but i'm assuming it exists)
Cheers.

I've been running around the Elemental Plane of Air for the last hour and the respawn rate seems very slow - after clearing the map i often end up doing laps without seeing any spawns (yes i'm using the mini-map). Any chance we could get more spawn triggers or a quicker respawn rate there please?
Cheers

The Elemental Plane of Water looks great!
Same issue with doing laps waiting for respawn though. Perhaps there could be portals between the different planes for middle and deep layers too?
Cheers

Cheers IIRC there is poartal between middle and deep layers, u just have to go thru the shallow layer to get to middle and then to deep but then there is portal to the different layers. As for doing laps waiting for respawn I just go to next plane and clear that, by time I have done all 4 plains first one has respawned.

Cheers The respawn rate there should already be pretty fast, but I will double check to make 100% sure it's what we intended. Acaos
