Well I just upgraded to Windows 7 and needed to reinstall NWN. I had a bad memory leak issue where the game gradually used all my free memory and crashed (again and again and again). My system only has 2GB memory but that should be more than enough. I found the solution here. nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.html?topic=690657&forum=49I hope this helps.

I had a similar problem after making some changes to my system early this year, using plain old XP 32-bit. NWN would use more and more memory until finally it would crash. Turns out it was when I upgraded the ATI drivers -- I backed off to an older driver and everything worked again. If I was still using an ATI card I might try the fix (nice find), but I switched to NVidia (for work reasons unrelated to gaming) so it's moot for me now.

Yomi,
Any clue what version of the ATI drivers you used?

It was a while ago. I believe I upgraded to 9.4 and got the problem, and went to 8.10 and everything worked fine.
