You're not going to be an effective turner without absolutely maximizing CHA, so i'd forget about the turning altogether if i were you and pick up as many Great Smiting feats as you can manage.

In the words of the man himself: The Destroy DC is mediocre due to the Charisma not being maximized.... Meaning that you're not really going to destroy much at all (much less machines) unless they roll a 1, although being able to immobilize mobs with your turns is a nifty ability. Maybe just ditch the epic spell pen book idea?

Completely redone. Built to 45 so far.

It's a bit unclear from the build - do you reach the neccessary 25 WIS needed for planar turning with your current stat / feat spread? You don't mention reading the Divination book for gate, is that what you finally decided on?

Stat spread is 5 CHA, 9 WIS, 6 STR. Started with pharlan so 12 + 4 = 16 plus that 9 will be 25. Probably gonna read the enchant book with this build for a better gmw.

Ah, hadn't seen that you'd changed the level progression and ditched cleric spells. Enchant seems like a good choice.

The first thing that I noticed is that you can gain 1 stat point if you start with 1 less strength and 2 more wisdom, you need a 25 WIS to get planar turning anyways, so this is a +1 str net gain. You also take power attack and cleave, but don't follow through on the DV crit line. This is a less expensive investment on the paladin version where you don't have to take power attack or cleave to become a blackguard. If you take the pre-mention strength change, you can swap out the 3 great strength feats in LLs and put in great cleave, OV crit, and DV crit.

overhwelming and dev crit seem wasted on this build. I am planning something similar but will probably ditch blind fight and go with LSA Listen as Half-Elf gets that req for free. Then I can take exotic weapon prof in place of BF and focus in katana, then you get dev crit for free after stygia tag for a bit of icing on the proverbial cake.
I am thinking that starting abilities will go something like this:
Stat: Start / Subby / 60 Str: 14 / 20 / 42 Dex: 8 / 8 / 8 Con: 14 / 14 / 14 Int: 12 / 12 / 12 Wis: 12 / 16 / 25 Cha: 16 / 20 / 30
All CHA increases pre-epic, then one CHA and the rest WIS in the Epic levels. First 4 to WIS in LLs and rest to STR.
Feats would look something like this:
Pre-Epic Levels: Stats: All Charisma Feats: Blooded, Power Attack, Cleave, Exotic weapon prof, Improved Critical Katana, Weapon Focus Katana, Extra Smiting
Epic Levels: Stats: Charisma x 1, Wisdom for the rest Feats: Epic Prowess, Great Smite 1-10 , Armor Skin, Epic Weapon Focus Katana.
Legendary Levels: Stats: First 4 Wisdom, rest Strength Feats: LSA: Tumble, LSA Listen, Legendary Weapon Focus Katana, Planar Turning,Great CHA 1, Great STR 3, Great STR 4.
CHA hits base 30, nice. STR hits 42, ab is kinda low but Taunt makes up for it. Dev crit possible with stygia tag.
