Barbarians and monks seem to be polar opposites, one drawing power from raging from emotions such as anger and bloodlust, while the other draws strength from meditation, emptying oneself of all emotion. Bloodfist Ragers have learned to combine these two opposites, gaining power neither could have achieved alone. With their inner Ki strengthened by their Rage, they can access the Weave itself, from which all life derives. Though only one in a trillion mortals can hope to disturb the Weave to any great extent, Bloodfist Ragers can at least send ripples through it, locally disrupting the use of abilities and spells by nearby creatures. In recent times, Bloodfist Ragers have become ardent hunters of the Red Wizards of Thay.
Pre-requisites
===
X levels of Monk and Barbarian before level Y
Weapon Focus Unarmed
may not gain Weapon Focus in any weapons
may not take levels in classes with spellcasting abilities (including Paladin or Ranger)
BRs gain BRL/4 % critical hit immunity, which stacks with any bonus Parry provides.
BRs cannot be the target of ANY non-epic spells, friendly or otherwise. Abilities such as Bard Song still work.
A BR's Stunning Fist ability is replaced by the ability to strip spells and lower a target's SR. The BR can toggle this between a Dispel (CL = BRL) or Breach effect. As the BR gains levels, this ability goes from Lesser Dispel/Breach to normal Dispel/Breach to Greater Dispel/Breach. At BRL 55, the Dispel effect becomes a Mord. At BRL 60, both Dispel and Breach effects are applied simultaneously. The SR decrease of this ability is equal to BRL/5 + one per Improved Stunning Fist or Improved Spell Resistance feat.
A BR with Whirlwind or Improved Whirlwind Attack will expend a single use of Stunning Fist and apply it to any target struck by WW.
Wholeness of Body retains the number of charges it has, but can be toggled to drain charges to apply to saves. For instance, if a BR rolls a 13 against a DC of 16, Wholeness of Body will drain 3 charges and allow the BR to succeed the save. When activated, Wholeness of Body drains one charge and provides two rounds of the Greater Restore effect.
Empty Body, if used by a CC Barbarian, restores all uses of Wholeness of Body. When used by a CC Monk, BRL is used to determine its duration, but not the amount of conceal it provides.
The Perfect Self ability's damage reduction's enchantment soak value becomes equal to 4/5ths pre-legendary Barbarian levels
While Raging, barbarian levels are considered monk levels for purposes of extra damage and acquiring Keen on gloves.
The Ripple Weave ability replaces the Barbarian's Rage, lasting for BRL/4 rounds. Each round, the BR's critical hit immunity decreases by one percent, while creatures within a certain radius, friend or foe, suffer a chance for their special abilities to not work equal to the amount of critical hit immunity the BR has lost. Spellcasters suffer Spell Failure equal to twice this percentage (increasing to three times the percentage at BRL 60). The radius of the Ripple Weave ability increases with level, but the BR can toggle the radius size between the largest size he has available and anything smaller.
