UPDATE 2010-10-12
=================
-Hades is here! The home of the yugoloths, and one of the major battlegrounds of the eternal war between demon and devil, Hades is a bleak, dreary plane that saps the emotions of those mortals who dare enter.
--Because the Styx is a conduit between planes, teleportation is not as restricted as in most outer planes, along its banks. As a result, Zerial was able to establish a stable portal in his Workshop without the aid of his portal opener device - no Hadean object is needed to access these areas, and you must only be able to enter the workshop in order to enter Hades. On the plane itself, gems of teleportation have some efficacy, and players can use the scrye to port to other members in Hades.
--Hades is designed for solo play as well as group play, with encounters scaling to group size. Furthermore, parties under 5 get a loot boost, allowing them to find BURs, unlike any other outer plane on HG.
--Bard song and curse song do not function in Hades, due to the emotion-draining nature of the plane.
--Hades is notoriously difficult to navigate. Even erstwhile mappers may find themselves traveling in circles - even if they stick to the banks of the Styx itself.
--As with all outer planes, immortality does not function on Hades.
--Unlike other outer planes, Hades is usually safe to rest in. Random encounters during rest are possible, but rare.
--As the primary staging ground of the Blood War, it is common to happen upon battles in progress, involving demons, devils, yugoloths, and the occasional celestial raiding party. Note that you only have a chance at loot from creatures that you kill yourself.
--Neither active spawns nor despawning block transitions and portaling. Flee at your leisure.
-Disarm checks have had their DC dropped by up to 12, as now only 90% of the target's discipline score is added to the DC.
-Arcane archers may now count 3/5 of their combined Bard, Sorcerer, and Wizard levels towards their effective AA level when using their specialty bows.
-The warchanter epic Chant of the Fallen is now working.
-Static Field and Mass Camouflage are now Herald of Storms spells.
-Bugfixes.
