I said it was fixed in the next update, and it was - this one. And you always were able to select more than one point, that wasn't your problem. Your problem was that it thought you had more points than you did, lowering your effective cap. Funky

Aye, Parry is affected by armour penalties, so you need to look at your character sheet skill page naked ... your character I mean.

Yes I had wondered about this, the question is - Is your critical reduction based on your actual points in parry or the value after armor reduction? If armor is a factor it makes parry for non-dexers wearing anything more than robes somewhat less useful.

is that a problem? Dexers don't get dev crit immune. so the way I see it this was geared to even that out for them... why would it be as useful to str tanks that can get crit immune as it is.

So that means its really only going to be effective for dexers which is interesting as I thought that they were better off on the impact of criticals due to ac, self conceal, epic dodge, etc. Does it not mean that a dexer with max parry is benefits more than a strengther as they'll get 50% immunity (or however it works) all the time and not have a limited duration ability that they have to actively switch on? Admittedly I can't think of a lot of items that give a big parry boost but that's possibly because I never used to look for it.
