Heya guys, I have a 40 dsm and have been farming sphinx for some secret subs and so far I have these:
Aasimar Daywalker Shade Siren
What kind of tanks can I build with these? Was thinking a barbarian, paladin, bg, cot, assassin with daywalker. Ranger, monk with aasimar. None with shade. Maybe a str/dex bard with siren? What would be the best? I was thinking a turning bg with rapier wit, dual wielding feats, divine might and divine shield with daywalker but what do you guys think?

Aasimar makes for decent Divine tank IIRC

Dual wielder Cha is hard to pull of ac-wise. If one were to do it, he should use it with paladin instead due aura of glory granting better bonuses to CHA based builds. Also, in order to use Cha for rapier wit, you'd have to discard Devastating critical, critical immunity and lots of ac (divine shield is CHa mod/2). A good build would be a human Aasimar smiter with one handed weapon and shield and abysmal dex. Lash of hatred also works very well with Aasimar and is quite sturdy, as it gets some concealment (tough you will need some skill feats on hide if you intend to use heavier armor). Daywalker is good for Barbarian or CoT dual wielder.

Daywalker has a great potential for a splashed barbarian. Something like 32 barb / 3 pally (remember to take Divine Might) / 5 HS, using double weapon + shield.

Just a comment on Deso's remark about Rapier Wit divine tank lacking Crit Imm and OC/DC while I do give up OC/DC on my Rapier Wit Paladin he does get normal Paladin Crit Imm. Mine is built using a BUR sub so it would be a factor in why it is able to manage this and it does have abysmal DEX.

Hows this look?
Halfelf/Daywalker STR: 15 DEX: 15 CON: 15 WIS: 8 INT: 12 CHA: 10
4 con/1dex/15str
18barb/2pally/13barb/4hs/1pally/1barb/1hs
max disc, listen, taunt, intimidate, tumble, 4search, 6lore, 8persuade, rest to craft armor
01: Blooded 03: WP Exotic 06: WF TBS 09: Alertness 12: Iron Will 15: Imp Crit TBS 18: Power Attack 21: TWF 24: ITWF 26: EWF 27: Cleave 30: Great Cleave, Armor Skin 33: Great STR 1 36: Great STR 2 39: Overcrit, Thundering Rage
(On both harperscout bonus feats take great dex 1 and 2) 42: LSA Tumble 45: LWF TBS 48: LL Will 51: Great STR 3 54: Great STR 4 57: Mighty Rage 60: Devastating Crit
What do you guys think of that?
STR at 60 with 14s = 54 DEX at 60 with 14s = 34 CON at 60 with 14s = 36 WIS at 60 with 14s = 20 INT at 60 with 14s = 26 CHA at 60 with 14s = 26
Add 4 to each for double demi and 2 each for level 80.

It looks quite solid. Some remarks:
Don't drop str any lower, otherwise you won't get crit imm while raging.
No need to max intimidate unless you're going to take terrifying rage. Better spend some of those points on concentration (class skill for pally, but not barb or harper scout) or try to get a reasonable score in UMD (as harper scout you can cross class it in LLs).
Div might as simpetar suggested would boost phys damage by some points as well, but with base cha of 14 + items (13 being the requirement for it) it won't last very long and you won't have a lot of uses either, so you'd probably be saving it for boss or other tough fights only. You'll get more from con mod while using mighty rage.

I had a similar build using Prismatic subby, for the extra resists. It works good with the 9 attacks, tough it takes a while to get critical immunity. Also, upgrading it to Half Guardinal is very reasonable later, as it isn't very expensive. (this is what I did)
Recomendations: I'd drop Intimidate for Craft Weapon (you need the AB, trust me) Change the splash from Paladin to Blackguard. This allows you to equip the critical immunity ring and do the "evil" runs.

I never had problems running out of rages as Barb for crit imms, just rest with rest of the group.
Also true fear imm is quite nice, swapping aligment back after rona/ely isnt all that hard, also not the kind of runs a barb really shines on, well sonic damage is great at Ely, but there yo dont need godlike saves anyways.

I have an old Daywalker battle bard based on Funky's Basic Battle Bard. It worked quite well for a while.

So at 80.... STR at 80 with 16s = 62 DEX at 60 with 14s = 40 CON at 60 with 14s and con arty = 44 WIS at 60 with 14s = 26 INT at 60 with 14s = 32 CHA at 60 with 14s = 32 I think you have a really nice build here and though I would do things just a little differently, this looks very solid. We should work on a bur version of this same build. Been done already but NOT with paragon levels and the new gear, and the ones that have been done certainly haven't been posted to my knowledge.
