So, I finally got the chance to reinc my bard, as I was unhappy with how it was playing. I want a caster bard, and decided that a pure support bard with next to no offensive capabilities suited me well. So, here's what I got.
It'll be a pure bard using a Chaos Gnome : Free Feat : Curse Song, SF : Enchantment, SF : Illusion (via gnome)
22 (base after subrace adjustment) + 20 (leveling stats) + 8 (feats) +12 (equipment) = 62 CHA at 60.
1. Artist 3. Lingering Song 6. SF: Necro 9. GSF: Necro 12. SF: Transmutation 15. SF: Abj 18. Extend Spell 21. Great CHA 1 *23. Lasting Inspiration 24. Great CHA 2 *26. GSF Abj 27. Great CHA 3 *29. GSF: Enchantment 30. Great CHA 4 *32. GSF: Illusion 33. Great CHA 5 *35. GSF: Transmutation 36. Great CHA 6 *38. Great CHA 7 39. Great CHA 8 42. ESF: Enchantment 45. ESF: Illusion 48. ESF: Transmutation 51. ESF : Necro 54. ESF : Abj 57. Legendary Spell Focus: Illusion 60. Legendary Artist
CONJ Tome
(Paragon Feats, should I get there) PSK : Illusion, Great CHA (x2)
What I'm looking at here is 6 epics, Possum's, Healing Spirit, the 3 Auras and Chant of Warding all with only 2 less than max CHA.
Am I missing anything really important?
Also, would I benefit more from taking 2 more LSF feats by dropping down to Great CHA 6?

Personally, I've never been too fond of the abjuration epic. I had it on a bard waaaaay back when, before UUU became an aura. I know half the DR stacks now, but it doesn't have a great duration either... you could probably do better. You could opt for evocation instead, or use the 3 spare feats for LSF Enchant and 2 great-charisma feats. Getting LSF enchant will allow you to doll out some nice GMWs as well as make your enchantment offensives better.

you can't get anymore LSF from dropping 2 cha, because you can't take ESF in epics levels...because you only have access to 6th level spells.
There in lies the rub.

I am opting away from offensive spells bar Amplify and perhaps a few others.
Also, the Abj epic gives the entire party 26/+20 DR in addition to 10% Physical Immunity for 6 minutes per casting - effectively nothing is ignoring it outright. In my opinion, that's not to shabby, especially since I thoroughly enjoy having Energy Immunity as an option as well, since that makes for a lot of flexibility in rings and can offset huge amounts of inflictions.
My spell list is looking something like this at current.
Level 1 Sticky Fingers (Pickpocket Boost) Silver Tongue (Persuade Boost) Expeditious Retreat Grease Amplify [ May be worth changing, as without Spell Pen feats, this will be bouncing off of things more than anything ] [ TBD] (Thinking possibly True Strike to help land Amplify, but without Spell Pen, that in and of itself is unlikely)
Level 2
Know Vuln GV Endure Elements Clang Mono Echo (Likewise up for debate due to Spell Pen issues, but it's not like there's a great selection at this point either) [TBD]
Level 3
GMW Displacement Treasure Scent Bestow Curse Remove Curse Remove Disease
Level 4
Shadow Conj Break Enchantment Legend Lore [TBD] [TBD]
Level 5
EV Lesser Mind Blank Healing Circle Mass CMW (Thinking Greater Dispelling, as with Abj Foci, this may be viable) Wail of Doom
Level 6
Shades Energy Buffer Least Spell Mantle Energy Immunity {Edit} Mass Haste
If I'm not mistaken, that's how many spells I should have come level 41. As you can see, I'm not exactly looking at huge amounts of offensive spells, nor should I be without Spell Pen feats.
And wow, I entirely missed that part, gandoron. Thanks for pointing that out. =D

If you intend to do Abyss, you should have iron grip and possibly silence. protection vs alignment is also useful.

All that should fit anyhow, so I can work with that.
Otherwise, given what I'm aiming for, it is a relatively sound build?

If I were to drop Legendary Artist, would I find myself suffering any on my Bard/Curse song that would then be at level 62 rather than 63?

I am not sure if this chart is still accurate but according to the chart on the Bard wikiL62 vs L63 song can loose you 1 Fortitude Save 2 Temp HP 1 AC 1 Skill Point

Is that all that huge in the grand scale of things?

that fort save is probably worth the feat

These are also the same numbers for the curse too except maybe the HP bit since I don't know how the damage scales from song if it is the same as the Temp HP or not. It really depends on what aspects of the song you want to maximize and how much.

With how player power creep has gone up with +16 stats, ego items , etc, that +1 fort dont make a whole lot of difference.

Here's my friendly advice about Legendary artist:... Never. Ever. Drop. Legendary. Artist. . Just my friendly advice, naturally. But seriously, the bard song is what the bard does, you want it to be maxed at all times. It's not just the +1 song level, as large as that is... it's also the second configuration of the bard and curse songs, which can be really nice.
