Had accidentally clicked the Goabin tag remover thingie - dunno exactly what it is, just know that it removes your tag. Was wondering if there is any way to have my tag restored? I have all tags but the one that got removed, so it's kind of depressing to think that I would need to reincarnate to get it

Well if you're still 35....then you can go get the tag again....or if not 41 yet it's easy enough to delevel a few hundred k xp and go back for the tag If not then yes iirc you would have to proxy/reinc However that's not so bad as it sounds I think (never done either personally but as this page explains proxy looks pretty easy, it is a mechanic designed specifically to address problems such as yours. Similar to reinc but different: wiki.hgweb.org/wiki/Proxy_Characters

By the way the convo to remove that tag is for if you get the tag of one alignment and then want a different aligned-tag (for instance by accidentally getting the version you didn't want, or just changing your mind)

whats the point in changing it though if you have the tag already?

You might want a different alignment tag- or get the wrong alignment by mistake.

whats the point in changing it though if you have the tag already? There's very little reason to redo that tag. Even if you have the wrong alignment all you miss is just 1% exotic immunity.

I agree it shouldn't be an issue since it's just 1% but I have seen players get insanely freaking mad in the past cause someone stuck them with one that didn't match their alignment....it seems they successfully lobbied the devs for a way to redo it without making a proxy too...hence the option from the Priest in town.
