Hey Gang. Ever wish you could get push notifications on your phone/computer/whatever when a run is forming so you don't have to check HGDash to make sure you aren't missing anything? Well now you can. Introducing HGDash + Pushbullet. Pushbullet is a website and app for you mobile devices that allows you to receive push notifications from different channels and triggers. I created a couple channels that publish interserver messages within 10 minutes of them being sent, and I'm working on getting the time down to be only a minute or two. Getting set up: Create an account on Pushbullet, and download the app on your phone. Click one or more of the following links: Run messages onlyNewbie messages onlyAll messages (Run, Newbie, Chat, Bazaar)You should be able to subscribe to these channels, and any time someone sends a message for a channel you've subscribed to you will get the notification on your devices in minutes. Example notification here: imgur.com/i4AzXPn
Technical things below, proceed with caution. I've set up a simple API that reads from info.hgweb.org/webout.cgi and converts the information into an RSS feed that complies with IFTTT and Pushbullet triggering requirements. The data is also available in JSON format. hgdash.herokuapp.com/messages/allhgdash.herokuapp.com/messages/runshgdash.herokuapp.com/messages/newbieFeel free to use these URLs to build tools with as well if you are more comfortable using JSON than the XML provided by info.hgweb.org/webout.cgi.
