Hey all, What's up? Glad to see people still keeping the magic alive. I can't believe with all the years and technology that has come to pass there hasn't been a game this immersive or cooperative, that I have found. If I wanted to try and get it fired back up is there a set of requirements somewhere? I will have to see about finding CD & Keys, I had registered them somewhere. I recall something about CEP packs? Is there HG only content to install as well? Will there be a penguin if I log back in?

I found my CD Keys as I still have my old NWN folder but clicking on nwmain.exe just gets me a "Neverwinter Nights has stopped working" error. I guess I will need to find CD and reinstall everything from scratch.

Check to make sure it's running in compatibility mode as well.

I think it is because I just have a copy of the folder on a fresh install of Windows and there is no Registry entries for it all. Hoping I can find the CD/DVD tonight.

I think it is because I just have a copy of the folder on a fresh install of Windows and there is no Registry entries for it all. Hoping I can find the CD/DVD tonight. I have 10 installs of NWN on WIndows 10 that don't have registry entries -- I Copied the first 3 straight from the hard drive of another computer, and the other 7 are copies of the first 3 with CD Keys changed. All of these 10 have individual executables but the necessary files (haks, portraits, etc) are all symlinked to my primary install. Try adding " -force-opengl" to the end of your shortcut targets. Try starting minimized first. Try starting the nwmain.exe executable instead of the launcher.

Yes, that is normal. If you use HGX or NWNX for the client you can avoid that long wait time, but you'll still get that message.

i use HGX or ARF2 and Yes it,s normal , with HGX this is what it is, first you have "could not connect to master server" click on OK, next y0u choose : "join internet game" , you will have "Connect failed, try another nick" click "cancel" next you are in your history section as you reinstalled you probably have none in there , go in your favorite and there you will find the servers in it, for the server 111 it,s 209.99.103.44.5121 juste enter it on your nwn, when on the server there you have server 111, 119, 211 to 215, 311 to 315 all you will have to do it,s to hop on each server by typing like for server 119 !portal 119 in the window who will appear no need password just click on "JOIN" and you will log on it , do the same for all servers and after this your nwn will have it in his memory in the "history" section, you will just need to add them in your "favorite" section and they will be in order for the next time you will go in favorite section to log on the server of your choice for HG
