Hi,
The new epic spells require 25 Sorc, Wiz, or PM to use. Could the PM requirement be chanced to L22 since you need to be a L3 caster to start taking PM levels (i.e., L22 PM = 25 levels of a caster class).
Dave.

Techniclly you can't get 22 levels of PM until level 32. This being because you are unable to take more than 10 levels of any PrC until you've totaled 20 character levels. Harper Scout being the exception to the rule in which you can only take a maximum of 5 levels in no matter how many character levels you have. I would suggest knocking this down to 15 PM levels which would require a minimum of 25 character levels.
This can be changed, though I doubt without the use of a hak.

I would suggest knocking this down to 15 PM levels which would require a minimum of 25 character levels. No, no it wouldn't. Epic Spells require level 40 across the board, though Ralkain didn't mention it. Check the Book covering Epic spells (now post on this forum as well as in the Item Shop). As for why I picked the same number for PM as for wiz and sorc, there were two reasons. First, it was to help prevent uber AC builds from accessing them easily. Second, PMs are not 'pure' casters, they get other benefits like AC, a better epic summon, crit immunity, and so forth. It didn't seem fair to give them access at the same number of spellcaster levels. 25 was a compromise, I was tempted to go all out for 30 at first. Funky
