I installed NWN on my new PC today and after installing NWN, installing CEP and the HG Enhanced files to the proper folders. I downloaded the files from wiki.hgweb.org/wiki/HG_Enhanced Higher Ground Enhanced - Standard - BETA 28 - I put cep2_custom.hak in the nwn/hak folder (after placing the original in a backup folder), and the cep22_v1.tlk and cep23_v1.tlk files in the nwn/tlk folder (again, backup originals). I backed up the original dialog.tlk file in the root nwn folder and replaced it with the dialog.tlk from the enhanced directory. Higher Ground Enhanced - Additional Quickchats - BETA 21+ - I placed the quickchat.gff file into the override directory Higher Ground Enhanced - Modified Client Executable - I changed the original nwnmain.exe file name to nwnmain_BAK.exe and renamed the modified client executable to nwnmain.exe After this I ran ARF2 and checked for updates, and all the CEP was listed as "OK", and no prompt to update showed up. However, when I logged in my character and NPCs had invisible bodyparts. My character's robe is invisible, the guards have invisible chest armors and Elrawiel Aerowyn's legs are invisible: imgur.com/a/Gmqr8I figured I must have messed something up, because I've never had this problem before on my old PC, so I uninstalled the game completely and downloaded the CEP and enhanced folders again and made another fresh install of NWN + CEP + enhanced. The problem still persists. If anyone with technical know-how has any idea what I could do to fix this I'd appreciate it, because I'm stumped.

I had that problem too after installing the modified client executable.
Try this fix: While in game, go to Options / Video Options / Advanced Video Options / Environment Mapping on Creatures
Uncheck the box should fix it.

Ok, I've done my third clean reinstall of NWN. I didn't touch ARF2 this time, as per Raj's suggestion. Tried launching only after installing CEP v2.62 (latest version on NeverwinterVault), still invisible body parts. Then I added HG Enhanced files. Still invisible body parts. Then added the modified client and launched with it. No change. Then I spent a good 30 min updating with Higher Ground Enhanced Updater, and still no change.

I have been having this issue since I updated my video driver. But the weird thing is if I play the game for a while it magically fixes itself. . . Mostly affects wings and tails but also occasionally chests. I can see the outline of the model but no texture. I tried all kinds of things to fix it but only playing and ignoring it seems to eventually fix it.

rollback driver version...?
if the issue isn't derived from nwn installation (corrupt/missing files etc) then it's surely a video problem, some googling should point you in the right direction

Tried rolling back driver to half a year old. No change. Tried updating to the driver that was released 2 days ago. No change. :/

I'm going to guess everybody getting the invisibility thing is using Nvidia graphics. I've been getting it for a while now but as I've never been one for crafting or worrying too much about appearances it's not bothered me that much, although some creatures seem to have developed a visual conceal affect making them quite difficult to pick out without tabbing.

I find this happens sporadically and it goes away if I swap servers. No real idea why it happens, but sometimes it'll also disappear if you craft the items. While it looks terrible, it doesn't affect game play and it does go away. It hasn't ever stayed permanent for me.

Note: Must make even more Wemics to irritate Raj However for me its the highly concealed Gelugons I find annoying, its not a !render thing they just look like they are shaded in invisibility.

Karma decided to strike back and I experienced the same bug. It used to fix by itself with some robe models simply by loading a different area, but it persisted on some other toons and when changing from full screen to windowed mode. I should have figured earlier it was the typical (eternal) Nvidia issue with NWN but looks like we didn't update our drivers on the same day: the problem arose when I did, using 388+ drivers. Reverting back to 385.28 version seems to have fixed it.

I’ve been noticing this a lot recently, and several people in Nessus last night also commented on it. Hard to hit invisible Lemures and Raks.

It's a known driver issue for Nvidia 10xx series cards. When it happened to me I googled and dozens of posts about it were quickly found all over the net. From what I can tell it's specifically a driver issue relating to the shaders. It's also been around for a quite a while, from what I could see a driver release would fix it... then later on it would resurface again. Someone posted a lengthy fix that was way too involved for me to mess with.
However (in NwN) I have found a reliable quick fix. First place I will see this is @ the docks when I login, the guards are missing textures and cloaks etc (if you hold tab you can see the outlines.. they are there but the reflective/transparency settings seem to be inversed) Anyhow... just hit video options change your resolution to literally anything else... then immediately change it back to your preferred setting. This fixes it for me every time (until I close the app and restart it). I have no idea why this works... but it does. Also if you alt-tab in/out of game it will sometimes get messed up again and require fixing by the resolution workaround again.
