will the rangers wis based AC boost work with a druid? if wis is 21 it gives full AC as long as ranger levels hold out and with intutive attack you could have wis stand in for DEX will this work because i cant find any info on ranger AC even working with druid

What exactly are you trying to build here? From the class changes - Wisdom AC Bonus: Rangers with 20 or less Wisdom modifier receive twice their Wisdom modifier as an AC bonus, capped at half their number of Ranger class levels. Rangers with 21 or more Wisdom modifier receive their Wisdom modifier as an AC bonus, capped at their number of Ranger class levels. To receive this AC bonus, the Ranger must be wearing light armor, must not have a shield equipped, must not have a kama, goad, or nunchaku equipped, and if wielding a melee weapon must wield one which can be equipped in the off-hand. Rangers, Druids with Monk splash and Ranger based Shifter tanks can all end up with very good final AC numbers but if you're building a melee build that's not a Shifter or a Stormlord quasiclass taking Druid levels is not likely to benefit you.

The highest wisdom AC that you are eligible for takes effect, they don't stack (i.e. ranger wis AC will not stack with druid AC). Druids with 30 druid levels (and at least 1 monk) get 2/3*wis even in light armor and large shield. If you haev druid in robes and without shield (i.e. torch) and at least 1 monk level, you get full wis mod bonus to AC.
The only conventional builds that combine ranger with druid are shifters, typically 5 druid / 13 shifter / 22 ranger (focusing on humanoid form, tanking as lizardfolk or sahuagin) or 10 druid / 29 shifter / 1 ranger (standard splashed shifter). Neither of them receives any form of wisdom AC whatsoever, wisdom AC does not apply to shapeshifting.

thanks for the advice. i was confused, was thinking about a doppelganger with just pure wisdom, 20 druid for buffs, and 20 ranger for ab. maybe a rogue or bard for skill dump, idk its been awhile. go ranger in LL, would lose out on evasion i think? intutive strike for wis AB, or maybe zen archery. just go straight wisdom.
p.s. was curious about the changes to getting sub-race books. ive got a 45 CoT that was very strong at one time but with katana being finesse now i will probably reincarnate her, shes control class CoT level 35 was going for full 50 but regreted not doing a skill dump. any suggestions on making a Baseborne Titan CoT dex/saves katana chick?

Skill dumps are usually unnecessary and in most cases (e.g. your build) counterproductive. Check documentation and LSA (legendary skill affinity) changes: take blooded+LSA tumble on pretty much any tank, go half elf+LSA listen on pretty much any tank (when they are not class skills).
Baseborn Titan being human base (can't max listen) is not that great for level 60+, it's more something you play until you farm enough money to buy a couple of cheaper BUR subbies and reincarnate+upgrade, so you'll use the weak blindfight on it. Don't go dex based on CoT, you want base 40 str for best crit immunity among all classes (multiple uses, non dispellable, fair duration). Titan with +0 dex is not leading to the dex path either.

Trying to create a self buffing tank (by taking caster levels) is a recipe for under achievement unless you're going down the Quasiclass route and even then none of these do top tier damage output (primarily after the quaterstaff 2H damage bonus removal). Get your buffs from a real caster (they'll be better) and focus on the module specific benefits that you can get by taking more levels in some of the melee classes as most of these kick in at later levels.

yea my CoT was awesome i looked at her the other day(guy was offering a undying sub for help) sadly i wasnt strong enough for him, undying is like my favorite subie.... i want one sooo bad. but are you sure about not going DEX on my CoT, shes more about saves than anything else my weapons pretty much made up for any problems i had. a katana with all elemental dmg and no dmg enhancement beyond 1 or 2, had all sorts of dmg, id let a good divine caster buff it and if i couldnt hit i had a katana with very high acc. my armors all messed up now though, the dex AC was different back then, i LOVE it like this now. i played on a dm run campaign where it was similar so im right at home. i was wanting to upgrade my DEX just enough to get scale mail, its already there anyway. i think it could use a reincarnation but with some decent equipment it would be fine. ive only ever had a lvl 48 who is basically just a scroll maker for a planned rogue now(cleric) it worked quite good too had GMWs and all sorts of scrolls to boost my rogue without "boting" i rarely saw it back then p.s. idk about the armor DEX ac being different, but it didnt show. and the armor i had on was really heavy which was a litlle strange. ive got high 20s dex, a hair off of 30 so scale mail should work fine. i like to look good you know EDIT: sorry got off topic. but would having like 20 ranger allow a druid to get 20 wis bonus AC. i guess a monks ac bonus would be higher. but there wo0uld be a few other things and max BAB with the ranger is nice.

Dexers have a lot of trouble starting around lvl 55 when they begin their adventures in hell, you won't notice it so much until you reach hell level 3 where several mobs will perform a strength check knockdown on you: Special Abilities: Strength Check: DC 40 vs KD. Lowers all saves and skills. wiki.hgweb.org/wiki/Bestiary:_Hells#Kyton_.28Kyton_Legionnaire.29There are lots of these in Minauros but you may encounter other Str KD effects before then as well, and it only gets far worse as you progress deeper into the Hells. There are some mitigation measures to control this problem, the primary solution is to make very close friends with a bard. However even those mitigations will not always help, Dex based toons become very humble by the time they complete a hell cycle. That is not to say they are not good at all, but more to say you should not neglect any of your stats, for example there is a charisma based dominate effect for all those ugly tanks that think 6 charisma is nothing to worry about. When all things are considered, as was stated previously, when doing a higher level run or end game run the party must be balanced and capable because there is a disability for every build, and while that player is standing there sucking his thumb the rest of the team needs to be capable of melting that mob without causing to much pain and anguish.
