I am building a Half-Orc Barbarian/Weapon Master and I was looking for suggestions on how many levels of each I should take. Also, does it matter what class I take at certain levels?
Thanks

I am building a Half-Orc Barbarian/Weapon Master and I was looking for suggestions on how many levels of each I should take. Also, does it matter what class I take at certain levels? Assuming this isn't a joke, you will have a long road to hoe my friend. WM has some of the toughest requirements in the game and HalfOrc will make it even harder. First you need Dex and Int of 13 or more (note HO gets a -2 int). On top of that you need 6 feats to qualify which means you won't be able to take any WM levels until level 16, even then you don't have any of the other nice melee feats worked in. Most folks use fighter to greatly lower when they can take WM levels, but your configuration is possible. As to how many levels of each you should take, most WMs stop at 7 levels or crank as many as they can. In your case, you may want to stop at 7 so you can also take 30 barbarian levels and become shape strong. Might want to take 2 levels of fighter early too so those 2 bonus feats will lower when you can take WM. Ralkain/Dave.

No joke Ralkain, I am at 15 levels of Barbarian, and 1 level of Weapon Master right now. I am not very good at character building, this is only me second one. I usually stick to the Epic Character Builds off the Bioware site. Thanks for the suggestions.

Do you think I should skip the weapon master levels and go straight barbarian or start all over? Thanks again

Hey Badger...
I made a Barbarian Weaponmaster to lvl 20 (Kamikaze) Half-Orc as well... I had the ability scores set for all the feats needed. I'm remaking him actually because of the Shapestrong ability, I want to weild two scythes or greataxes. Since both Barb and WM are warrior-type classes, it doesnt matter when you take the necessary levels, althought you would want WM early enough... I usually level WM just to 7, but that +1 AB every 3 lvls or whatever it is, is nice. My plan was at least 30 lvls of Barb for Shapestrong, then 7 WM and whatever after that. If you have the intelligence and dex to get all those annoying feats I say try it out! and Good Luck...
PS my half-orc Barb WM is Kamikaze and I am remaking him for the fourth time, so he'll have a similar name if ya wanna PM me and see how things are going...
