Funky,
I finally figured out a Barbarian build that would work for me, I have him at level 22 right now. At level 21 I took Mighty Rage, but don't see the improved HG effect mentioned under the Barbarian class text.
Currently I only have 20 levels of barbarian and when I rage I don't see the +8 enhancement increase mentioned on either my AB or my Weapon stats.
Does it only work if you're an epic Barbarian? I.e., once I take my 21st barbarian level will it start working or perhaps its just a hidden bonus we can't see? If the former, then maybe a text update is in order when you get around to it.
Dave.

Are you sure it was Mighty Rage you were using? There are no level reqs, it shows up as a GMW-style effect, and lasts for 11 + Con bonus rounds. Funky

Are you sure it was Mighty Rage you were using? Didn't think it was selectable, the book says Rage becomes Greater Rage at Barb15, I guess I assumed that it became Might Rage when you selected that feat (is there someone who would only Greater Rage when they could Mighty Rage?). I only clicked on my Rage ability last night, perhaps I need to quickslot Mighty Rage instead of Rage (I'll look tonight). On a similar note, I was surprised I couldn't take Mighty Rage at level 21 unless I took a Barb level then (had to alter my build slightly). You'd think with the 3rd+ printing there'd be some doc corrections . This is what I expected to see, but didn't. I'll see if I have a Mighty Rage combat maneuver or special ability in addition to my Rage Special Ability on my radial dials tonight. Thanks Funky, Dave.

Mighty Rage is an epic feat, with specific reqs, including 21 CON. Funky

Funky, a suggestion here, could you also update Mighty Rage to add +4 Temporary Hit points per character level, that leave when the Rage ends? This would simulate that +8 Con that it provides too. Perhaps you've already done this, can't check it on my char until next level, but the Mighty Rage modification text on the sign in town didn't mention it. Dave.

Yup, sounds good. Issue here is preventing them from getting them again while theyre raging, if I recall correctly, but I'll take another look. Also, temp hitpoints are actually a fair bit better than a CON increase, since 1) Barbs don't have fort save problems and 2) temp hitpoints arent subtracted afterwards, as with CON-based HP, instead any remaining ones just disappear. Gonna see if I can work in the subtraction as well. Funky

LOL if I cant then no temp hitpoints, the last thing I need is barbs with a few thousand hp running around. That was why it didn't get put in initially. Funky

LOL if I cant then no temp hitpoints, the last thing I need is barbs with a few thousand hp running around. That was why it didn't get put in initially. Ok. One more suggestion for when you get into this script. The script currently seems to look up the enhancement bonus of your equipped weapon(s) and adds 8 to it and applies a gmw type mod to the weapon. As you note this causes issues with weapons with attack bonuses. Would it be possible to look up both the weapon's attack and enhancement bonus, cut the attack value in half and add 8 to the higher of the two? Swapping to hit for damage on a one to one basis has precidence with power attack too, so it seems reasonable. There would be no change in effect for enhancement only weapons, but Attack weapons could now benefit from mighty rage as well. Using this modification, if you have a weapon with only +10 attack, when you mighty raged it would become +13 ehancement bonus. Technically it should become +18 attack and +8 damage bonus, but as you know that's difficult, so +13/+13 seems a nice compromise. This slight modification would allow your fine mighty rage update to work with weapons with attack values too. Dave.

Yup, I could, but is it really necessary? The only weapons I can think of at the moment that are attack bonus only are gloves and kamas - not exactly the stadard barb fare. Funky

Funky May not be the standard barb fare, but its my barb's fare with a fall back to scythe/shield when extra defense is needed. Dave.

Greetings,
Leave it to Dave to make a kama wielding Barb. Sheesh (grin and wink)!
But, MR is a quick slottalbe rage option that is a 3 time use/rest ability. It seems to be quite distinct from Greater rage from the normal rage progression for barbs. I have put it on my barb's quick slot bar and use it, but have not tested the numbers.
