Hello!
I'm trying to get back into HG for the first time in ~10 years... I downloaded/installed the game from GOG, installed the CEP and used the ARF2 tool to update/join one of the servers. When i run a check for updates and look in the log it says "All CEP and HGE HAK files appear to be ok ". I'm assuming this is just a CD key error. Any chance someone could point me in the right direction? Sorry if this is posted in the wrong directory btw!
Username is Boarlag. Thanks!

Is the game actually giving you a CDkey error? Otherwise I think ARF is a bit questionable as far as functionality at current. I highly recommend the easy install EXE linked in drunken monk.

I followed your advice and used the easy install. Now when i try to join it does give me the error "CD Key authentication denied."

Your account has been set to accept a new key. Welcome back! On another note, is there somewhere we could post instructions to more clearly help people like you coming back and running into this install issue? Sees like we get a couple posts a month along these lines. Thanks, Funky

Thank you very much! All I did was google "neverwinter nights higher ground". The first item on the list is HG wiki home page. From there I clicked on Installation Guide... the guide talks about ARF2 but doesn't seem to mention the easy install that sabregirl mentioned. Maybe you could edit that wiki page? Cheers!
Edit: I still get CD key authentication error when i attempt to join one of the HUB servers. I double checked that my nwncdkey.ini has my keys associated with my version of diamond edition that GOG has associated with my account. I'm not sure what to do from here.

Disregard this, I wound up making a new account as I wanted to start over from scratch anyway. Thanks for your time!
