This is probably a dumb question, but here goes:
If you take Great Constitution when you are in LL's, how will that affect hit points? In other words, if I take GC at Lvl 42, and it takes my Con from 19 to 20, will I get an extra 42 hps? 40 hps? none?
The reason I ask is I seem to recall getting screwy hit points when I took the feat with a previous guy.
If it is different than with normal lvls, does the same apply to Intelligence and skills?

40 hps. Stat gains are retroactive only through standard levels. Funky

Hmm... but you include CON when calculating LL hp gained, yes? So you would get more by taking Great CON pre-LL, rather than during.

Right, you would gain the extra hp for all the levels after the level you took the feat, just not retroactively or for the current level. Funky

There goes that 2,500 HP build idea....

You wouldn't make it, anyway. d12 * 60 = 720 toughness = 60 50 con * 60 = 1200 10 E. Toughness = 200 items (12 con) = 240
You would reach 2420. In the current system, it's a meager 2357. Pre-LL, it was 1464, but you had to take some Fighter to do it, which would hurt you long-term.

Cool, ty for the response. That confirms what seemed to be happening for me.
