The pit of Moliation trap seems to be broken for me.
I was trying to hit the Pit of Moliation tonight. I was still in advance vampire form when I reached it on the first server. The entire trap turned red for me, and when I floated over it, the trap disappeared. I de-shifted, but could still not trigger the trap.
I assumed it was because I had been levitating when I arrived, so I jumped to a new server. This time I de shifted right at the tunnel. Unfortunately, the trap was missing on the second server.
6 hours later, after a server had been rebooted (111) I tried a third time I de-shifted well before reaching the trap, but the trap does not exist.
Have I somehow broken the pit of Moliation for my toon?

Okay, it is definitely broken (at least for me)
I waited 24 hours, so that all servers would have rebooted, and I was a ground pounder for the entire duration of the "Drow Tunnels Level 1" map. The PoM entrance trap still does not show up (server 213, 11/27 at 8:39 EST).
Has anybody else tried PoM in the last two days?

Okay, experimented with myth on server 311. Myth was able to access the pit, but some stuff seems different: 1) Myth encountered a tumble check before falling down, which neither of us remember 2) After entering the pit, there was now a "Pit Edge" transition point, which I do not recall seeing before.
Checking my log, I do not have any tumble checks at the pit on 213. On 311, after myth had accessed the PoM, I could use that "Pit Edge" transition point and got a tumble check.
Any devs want to take a look? Happy to help test.

Its a DC 30 tumble check probably there to prevent low level characters accidentally falling in and I was wearing a PW ring so its nothing to do with levitation (other than taking no damage). Attachments:

After myth entered PoM on 311, the "Pit Edge" transition point had a tumble DC of 90, for me.
However, my toon seems to be completely broken for initiating the PoM. I just tested on 212, since it will reboot in 10 minutes or so. Max search, spot at 88, tumble at 105. This time, the trap did appear as red on the ground, but there was no tumble check in the log and the moment I walked onto it, the red disappeared, and I did not fall down. I was not levitating.
This is really bizarre!

Okay, I think I know the underlying cause, but not the solution. I seem to be in a state of constant ground trap elimination. I just tested on the ground traps in the ancient tomb (below the defiled tomb) In human form, the moment I walk over a ground trap, the trap disappears and I get 50xp.
Have I somehow had the modron ground trap elimination ability permanently turned on? (I don't know if modron form would have given me 50 xp before this glitch, but, at the moment, in modron form, I still get 50xp when I go over the ancient tomb traps) I feel like King Midas. :_(
Traps on chests trigger normally.

So your constant state broke the malb run too probably Have you tried switching to the form running over a trap then turning it off and testing another trap?

i have not been able to produce a DC 90 check in any way.
there are 2 different tumble checks that i can find. one is vs "Pit of Moliation Entry" and is DC 30. the other is vs "Pit Edge" and is DC 60.
the former check triggers when you run over the trap zone. the latter check triggers when you click the Pit Edge placeable.
i have not been able to produce a scenario where the trap zone disappears and/or the toon doesn't fall down.
toon with 127 dt received *Success will never be possible* message when attempting to disable. i don't think the trap is flagged as disarmable.
for the ancient tomb traps, it sounds like you're just auto disabling them. you say you're in "human form" but what exactly does that mean? iirc your toon is an elf and if you're not in a different form you're probably just in auto detect mode as elves are normally.

I tried unshifted (elf/sidhe), modron and kukri and the auto disable of floor traps remained . . . um . . . uh . . . Yes! Malb was totally because of this!!! ;-)

D'oh! Yes, I meant "elf form" :-D (Technically "Sidhe form" :-P~ ;-) ) I meant I was not in modron form, nor in a levitating form. I should have said "I was unshifted" or some such. If you go over the PoM trap in Modron form, the trap gets disabled. Modron form auto disables any floor traps. (I use this in the Hive, but found that it works on all floor traps) However, I was not in modron form when I tried PoM and the Ancient tomb traps. Could it be that the elf's auto-detect ability automatically disables traps on the floor when you cross them? That would mean this build would never have gotten into PoM on its own. I am pretty sure that I have taken this build into PoM on its own, before, but I could be mistaken . . .

Fortunately, the beholder well still drops me into Zorgbot’s hive.
Ugh, I don’t wanna reincarnate again! I am almost back to lvl 80! But I need to be able to solo PoM. There is a secret on the penultimate map that I wasn’t able to get into. I think it is broken, but I was shackled to 51, so I could not use the locate object torch to confirm the secret had triggered without giving anything. (Besides, I enjoy assuaging my guilt by freeing the prisoners)

I repurposed my demoncake golem shifter tank into a traditional caster shifter and now every time it is hit by something I see a green onscreen message that it is changing the demonflesh energy immunity, weird. No scripts or anything going on there but it doesnt bother me or have any impact so I just ignore it. Marcus changed a caster shifter into a traditional druid, and every time he died he lost all his spell slots. We had to set !opt shifterfix each time he logged into a server so it wouldnt do the auto un-equip/re-equip cycle that is hardcoded for shifters. I think a 2nd reincarnation fixes these issues.

Okay, confirmed that my toon now eliminates the ground traps of the hive regardless of form.
While this is nice, why couldn't I have gotten a broken, stuck effect that is more helpful like Drider knock-down immunity or construct/undead critical/sneak attack immunity? :_(

On the plus side, Beholders is a breeze, now that all the electric traps are instantly disarmed, so no need to restore from electric vulnerability infliction! :-D
(I was wondering why I kept randomly getting 1200 xp! That's more than I get for the mobs! Remind me to farm XP, next time I reincarnate with the darn loss of XP)
