Octavious Stormchyld and Crimson Crusher (Kalem McGill) and (Ironfang McFinn)
Would like to try to setup an Immo run on a Weeknight around 8:00pm EST (GMT-5). If interested in joining or can help with Books or Crown please post here so we can setup a day and time.
I have been on multiple Lloth runs but never have the time to stay for Immo and crown always stays in party for those continuing on. ( I would be LL 45 now so I am twitching to get this done.)
If we need to do Lloth to get a crown we may have to split between 2 nights as both quests together usually take longer than we have.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Ironfang,
I'd be happy to help you on an immortal run with a few conditions:
#1. I won't take anyone along just to get an immortal tag if you don't know what the prerequisites for an immortal run are. After reading your post I think you've got a good idea, but in case there's anything you don't know about, you're gonna have to sit through me lecturing you on it first. Once you know enough that you could start a run all on your own, we'll head out! :-)
#2. I won't let you just follow behind me and not learn anything. If I'm going to help you with your first run, you're going to have to listen to me explain things along the way. I'll teach you about different monster strengths and weaknesses, what to do (and what not to do) at different points, what protections you need, etc. So after we're done, you should be able to lead a run yourself, and teach others too. :-)
#3. As far as the actual equipment goes (books, crown, etc), don't worry about it, as long as you know what you need I'll be happy to give you or let you borrow mine.
So as long as you don't mind learning what you're doing as we do it, I'll be happy to guide you. If you want a weeknight run starting about 8 pm EST, Tuesdays work best for me. I doubt I can do tonight (2/14), but next Tuesday sounds good (2/21). 8 pm EST. I'll bring a few friends along to help us out, we should be able to do it, including all the lecutures (that'll be the longest part!), in under 2 hours. That ok?

If I am online, I would be happy to go with you. Immortal bashing is fun!
I just need to find myself a decent belt first...

Thanks guys.
Yes I am fairly familiar with the quest and monsters I will be encountering. I have 1 immo character already and have been on at least 2 other runs. We went thru to get the crown last night but I had to leave just at the droghars but I think Octavious stayed and I can only hope he got to keep the crown.
I am a Cleric though and would be happy to sit and listen to any and all advice as to what spells to prepare and which monsters to cast them on and which to just pull out the hammer and lay the smack down on.
If nothing else happens before then (to be honest I hope I get it before then) Tuesday the 21st is a Go!
P.S. What are your Gamespy names so I may add to buddy list to see which servers you are on.

Well after a long night with hard work, patience and a helpful DM, Crimson is now among the Immortal. Server lost connection to all clients once in the abyss, we eventually got back on about 5-10 mins later still in the abyss down one member. Then just at the beginning of the Immortal fight it happened again, amazingly he did not despawn when we got back on, but almost immediatley it happened again.
This time we arrived back at the Docks after a reset and down to 3 patience and perseverance paid off though. We eventually finished off that old fart and basked in the glory of immortality.
Special thanks to _Izzy, Grogbot and Hiryuu. Also thanks to those earlier in the evening that helped us retrieve the items that got us into Hell in the first place, AV, Dean etc..
P.S. I still am dedicated to helping Octavious get there as well, so if you see either of us online send a tell.
Thanks again, I have to say this is THE friendliest most helpful server on the net. I don't know how you keep those PVP / PP creeps from other servers from playing here but keep up the good work.

I want to thank all the ppl on this server for thier advice and mentoring along the way, and Ive basically given up on playing this character because I've been stuck on lvl 40 for what seems to be an eternity. I will gladly join on the immo run my budy is trying to set up..but I do so miss ppl saying "ding" and the rounds of gz, grats, and grtaz that quickly follow..I will watch to see when this immo run is setup for..once again thanx to the best gathering of nvn players on the net.................

Don't feel too bad Ozzy, I understand completely hence this thread. After Immo I jumped to Level 45 close to 46 i think, but we both have an Immo already and you have 2.
BUT...Grogbot has broke some sort of record! [glow=red,2,300]2 years [/glow] after starting on HG, Grog was on his first Immo Run last night and became immortal with me.
Huge Gratz goes out to Grog!

Sorry for the inconvenience! Thanks again, I have to say this is THE friendliest most helpful server on the net. I don't know how you keep those PVP / PP creeps from other servers from playing here but keep up the good work. Its partly due to an unintentional result of the ac/ab scaling on the server. The ac attainable is far in excess of the ab atainable. You need to be a build member and have a guild ac dropper to make weapon combat realistic, and the ac drop only affects guild members, so the cheesy PvPers can't do much to nonguilders. I chalk the rest up to good player management dms. Funky
