I am 38-Cleric/2-Rogue and and Wizard or Sorc asked me if I had Freedom of Movement to cast on him. I questioned why he would want this and he replied "I have 1 level of Monk so it makes me go really fast".
Is this the case? If so I am very sad I didn't do the typical thing and take a Monk level. If so is there any chance that Freedom of Movement will eventually let Clerics move fast as the description states?

I am pretty sure that it does not affect my speed at all. I have read a thread somewhere about this I'm sure. I have seen a speedy Paladin before, wondering now if he had a monk level.

Im with you on this one budy, as you know you run around with my paladin (Octavius Stormchyld) and even after reading the paladin spell changes which says that the speed in increased at higher levels from the freedom spell I certainly never noticed a change in speed, but I only assumed I didn't notice either (wishing I had taken 1 level of monk).

If I ever get it fixed. I originally assumed the underlying problem with the spell was due to a problem with my script, but a recent report on the bioboards of a similar problem suggests to me that a biobug is at fault. It did work on other classes in other permutations, however, so it MAY get fixed eventually (I hope), once higher priority stuff is done. Funky
