Hello all and DMs and Builders!
I would like to say, many times some high runs (dachy, etc) happens and players ask for an invite and dont get it, because the group is closed to dont disturb boss loot split. Look, when I'm in a closed party and I look a ask for invite, I'm feel bad because they very probabily will not get the invite. And when I'm out of group and dont get an invite, I need to make another party and try run other server (no always I can). The problem is: like me, there are lotsa other players that dont know all tricks of the server, and if they dont get invite for high runs, the immo fun is limited.
My suggestion is: could you make that bosses give a piece of loot for each person in party? It could do parties dont refuse new members anymore, and letting the module run what it run better: with more integrated members.
What about it?
Cesar

Not a bad idea. I could see doing it for dachy, perhaps. I think, though, that another factor is that people don't want latecomers getting the same benefit after putting in so much work themselves. I think this'd be a valuable discussion to have, so please, everyone, feel free to comment! Funky

Yup, it's an effort and reward issue. The late-game quests are multi-hour affairs, so joining for the last leg and getting the same reward doesn't sit well. If you just want the tag and xp, and no loot, most groups will let you join up.
I would suggest shouting out and building a group, rather than waiting for one to form and trying to join in. I often log in without any real plans, and I know others do, as well.

I agree with everything Hiryuu said. Also if you want to make your runs easier ask elite players to join your party.

I definately agree with Funky and ronchese about having certain bosses drop one 'signature' item per player in party. I would definately put support behind for Dachy, and I know a lot of people would also like to see a similar scheme for signet rings from Lolth. ;D

I guess I wasn't clear in my post. I didn't intend to endorse the idea, but to point out a pitfall and encourage some debate. Funky
