Yea, I've been up all night (what I get for sleeping all day yesterday) and the servers have been down for a couple hours at least.

posting this here, more for Funky's benefit then anything else. I have already filed a ticket with Fragism. I filed the ticket about 15 minutes ago.

there may be an issue since Fragism has just been aquired by Clanservers as of 17 may 06. several people have had issue with things since. So u may want to double check that ticket.
clanservers dont support NWN. (unless its done on the quiet). Not wanting to put a downer on this, but we may NEED a new host. Ref conv earlier Arch

Aye, I still haven't verified our status with clanservers, but they've been hosting us for weeks now without issue, and we are paid ahead several months on one server (the other I'm about to renew) so I doubt that's the issue. I did finally get my contact email working, so will be able to find out the lay of the land soon enough. Thanks for keeping me posted! Funky

We may do something of the kind for NWN2, but on Windows, because there are currently no plans for Linux server for NWN2. For now, however, we are paid ahead a bit on one of the servers, so we won't be moving soon. Thanks for the links! Fyi, 'rackspace' is a misnomer - they do hosting 'solutions' packages starting around $400 - you do not provide a box, they do. Funky

I was wondering when this would come up. Clanservers doesn't host NWN, so those will be staying with ZTNet (Fragism's former parent company) for the foreseeable future. The transition has been very hard on some of the customers, since CS uses a mass-production business model that doesn't have the same flexibility (think Dell vs. local computer store). Anyway, the file server crashed out, but it's up and happy again. zerogravityse: With the exception of rackspace, those have terrible performance and support records (especially 1&1). 70 people on cable or adsl is not going to happen. For the move to NWN2, Steadfast Networks would be my recommendation. I wish they had an east coast DC so we don't alienate the European crowd too much.

I'm sure funky would check on the background before spending the cash. Those are all old links I had put away. Road Runner Business class runs off the same speed of a T1.
