Ok, maybe not quite a bug but maybe a correction/clarification requirement. Staffmaster writeup states that you "Must have 15 levels of Wizard and Weapon Focus: Quarterstaff before level 21", yet actually this should read "by latest level 20". I had to delevel my staffmaster by two levels other night to fix this, and (esp at that lvl with that kind of class) it's a lot of pain that could have been avoided.
Also, is it intentional that the blackstaff spell is round-based for the staffmaster as well?

I used BEFORE level 21 because it was clearer IMO than 'by level 20'. It's also exactly what the script says, incidentally. In any case, that should've cost you one level at most. As for Blackstaff, it's duration is in Hours for Staffmasters, so I've no idea what you are talking about there. Chalking this one up to RTFM. Funky

Ok, defensive weave down funk. I'm only stating that the description is unclear, and perhaps it could use some clarity. If you feel it's clear, so be it.
**two levels = 14wiz/6wm at lvl20. Then taking the qualifier, lvl21=lvl15 Mage making me lvl21 with 15 levels of wiz means dropping back to 19 to take wiz15 by lvl20 (by way of experimentation in the [test] area) which is the actual prerequisite.
Ok, let me give you an example using epic warding: Prerequisite: (Epic) Epic Sorcerer/Epic Wizard/lvl15 or more palemaster, Spellcraft 34 before you can take the feat, on a feat level
Epic = lvl21, as you all know by the plain fact that you gain the epic wizard feat at that level (and hence why the wording makes double meaning I guess in my mind). If you take your (lvl15 palemaster or 21st wizard/sorcerer) level at a feat level past lvl31 (int min 19); take that 34th spllcraft skill point on that level too, you can take the epic warding feat. If you even miss one of those, you can't. Hence the confusion, and why I read more into your "level 21" description.
Blackstaff: For me at lvl20 lasted slightly longer than my (non-extended) elemental shield. Which is why I ask about it, as there does not seem to be an entry in the book about it's duration - only tensors.
And now that I've bored you all to death, I'll keep it down some..

[/quote] ...and then gaining 1 xp to recoup the second delevel. 1 level + 1/19000th of a level is a lot closer to 1 level than two. I can't be responsible for bizarre interpretations of the English laguage. It'd be impossible to write documentation. When in doubt ask, though it sounds to me like you skimmed over it without actually reading it. It's duration for non-staffmasters is in rounds. I upgraded it for staffmasters the update after the one in which SMs were added, but it looks like that never made it onto the web or BB notes. I'll fix it when I do the revision of the description for this update (SMs will be able to change elemental types between castings of the spell, on the fly). Thanks, Funky
