I used my Warrior's Whetstone today and it gave my blades 1 point of fire damage and 1 slashing, as opposed to the buff I am supposed to get at level 29. I relogged and check it after resting, but same thing. Strangeness.

Try using them in combat. It's hacktastic, but it works, unlike the old way. Planning to add an explanation next update. All onhit properties are now routed through the flameweapon script - thats 'one point' of fire damage is actually a level 1 flame weapon. Every onhit spell has it's own temp item prop to server as a marker for its duration. Flame weapon is fire, darkfire is electric, poison weapon is acid, death's kiss is cold, warriors whetstone is slash, deafening clang is sonic, and way of the staff is bludgeoning. Might be forgetting one, not sure. There's actually a new warrior's whetstone describing the changed effetcs, but at the moment only new characters will get it. There will be a pedestal next update that you can click to update all your spell-type items that changed this update. Funky

i got same problems with whetstone. only gives 1 slash dmg and 1 lvl of darkfire added. tried to use it in combat as Funky told but same result... Just a "bug report" nothing too serious though, guess ill have to visit that pedestal next update. Needless to say, ofcoz, this is the best server i ever played!! Thanks Funky and his crew for bringing the good stuff to us ! Hercules.

The whetstone is working just fine. You need to pay attention to the dsamage you are actually doing in combat, not what the weapon says. If you do, you will see the extra physical damage beiong applied seperately. The staffmasters blackstaff, on the other hand, appears to be on the fritz. All the new versions of the whetstone etc will do is explain in their descriptions why the weapons don't show the actual damage amounts on them. Funky
