Was looking through old screenshots I had and ran across some of my old favorites and thought I would share a few. Most of em include a things I made for that game . . . One of my screenshot contest entries. Going a little claw to claw with the spirit bear. One of my more popular races, this one was a little thief stealing everything not nailed down One of my favorite NPCs from my quest mod. -S

God I was soo addicted to TES3::Morrowind.. I used to play like 8-10 hours a day just wandering around and stuff..
As far as size and playability goes i was kinda depressed by Oblivion. Though I did play though it. NWN is just more fun
Also the mods you made.. did you ever post them to elirc melinbones website?

Yep Morrowind was addictive back for a good while so many different ways to customize your own game world it's just crazy. From what I've heard, Oblivion just doesn't seem to have much if any of that old magic from morrowind or daggerfall for that matter. Haven't really been too keen on picking it up, maybe one of these days when it's in the bargain bin I think some of my mods are on melnibone's still, most are on planet eldercrolls but easiest thing is to click on the link under my avatar there - I have info and downloads for all of them. Oh and one mod (not by me), if you've never tried it - The Underground, simply stunningly amazing, that guy got the MW engine to do things nobody thought was possible and with an amazing storyline to boot. (Course it might eat your computer for lunch ) -S

So that why you always seemed familiar to me... Ah.. evolution.. from the best single player RPG of its style.. to NWN.. I hope NWN 2 isn't a dissapointment like Oblivion was. granted.. I think Funk and the team will keep that from happening. If they dont lose theri mind first ;D

...Most of em include a things I made for that game . . . i recognize some of the things from your web site. my morrowind - it's still on my hd - has gigs of of hand picked mods installed and i'm pretty sure yours are in there along with all the other great stuff. really nice work. Ah.. evolution.. from the best single player RPG of its style.. to NWN.. I hope NWN 2 isn't a dissapointment like Oblivion was. just think how morrowind looked when it first came out and how it looks now. how much was added - better graphics, sounds, homes, huge areas, story lines bigger than the main quest thing, new races and more fixes than anyone could count. (i agree, the underground is really cool.) i still have hope for oblivion. give it another year and hopefully an expansion that actually expands on what modders can mod. link: nice article about oblivion modsand if nwn2 turns out to be not so hot either, then that hope extends to that as well. you might be right there

When NWN2 is released, it'll still technically be a Beta?
So I'd reserve some faith in it. =P

Aaaah Morrowind...
I must say that I love the Elder Scrolls line of games...I played Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and its expansions...skipped the Redguard one I must admit, but I did play a bit of the one that resembled a 1st person shooter...didn't like it though.
They've got a great deal of depth and the ability to go, and do, what you wish. The replayability is almost infinite. They're wonderful games!
That said, they're buggy as all hell...and can be stupidly repetitive at times.
Still, I had an absolutely lovely magical tree house there, courtesy of my decorating and someone else's skill at modding...

Ahh yes old daggerfall far buggier than even morrrowind - which is irritatingly buggy in it's own right. But an absolutely massive world and amazing character customization. Always liked the unique world and lore of the TES universe sadly it sounds like this largely got left by the wayside in Oblivion. And housemods - everyone's favorite. For some reason I never really got into them until requested. Later I ended up building my own treehouse, council hall and mansion. bhao- Most of my mods have a rather "niche" appeal but one almost everyone recommends at some time or other (and I refuse to play without) is Ecology of Morrowind. Gives the environment a more "natural" feel and truer to the original game text - which talked about guar herds but yet you never saw more than one. I fixed that Did I mention I love the little purring noise they make? Alas, due to another legendary morrowind bug they have a tendency to multiply beyond normal limits - fortunately there are several douwnloadable tools out there to eliminate duplicate critters. And for a totally random "What the?" screenshot I just found again . . . -S

And for a totally random "What the?" screenshot I just found again . . . this mod i definitely do not have Morrowind was awesome. I have oblivion... its nice.... but for some reason I dont find myself as attached to it. Somethings missing... cannot quite grasp it. um... atmospheric sound effects 3.0? realistic weather 2.0? all of qarl's high resolution/high polygon replacements? better bodies 2? better heads? better clothes? all the bb armor replacements? ice's bb robe replacements? all the other "better" mods? and all the other amazing stuff i can't remember right now. or maybe it's just guns (see picture above ) because i miss all that stuff (well... not the guns)

In oblivion I have Obscuros oblivion update thing. Tons of addons in tha pack. I have realist weather, bodies, economy as well as a few other touches based on my preference. Still... its seeming too easy... repetitative... and lacking that 'one more minute' addiction.
