As a church has asked me if I would like do do a mural on their outside wall, 30' x 100'  So deciding if I really want to do it, could be a good chunk of change. And the biggest thing I have ever done in art. Words of encouragment anyone! Should I give it a go. I feel like a pixie in HG, so small. lol |

Dude it can be like the next Sistine Chapel type thing you could become famous..
DO IT DO IT DO IT.. Then post pictures so we can all see your work..
Art is the true path to immortality my friend.
Plus you'll be getting paid for it. The fact that they offered you payment says alot too.. Just a generic artist they would prob ask them to do it as a donation type thing..

Thanx man well looks like i will have to pressure wash 3000 sqft, primer it, paint it, then seal it. Soooooo a month or so of work and thats workin straight. I will be doin on weekends, so about 5 months of weekends.  God I so want do to it, may see if I can find someone else to do the sealing, then I will just have to do the painting. Plus I got a small gallery that will sell my lighthouse sketches on consignment 80% me 20% them. ;D Wish I had a way of scanning the 2 lighthouse i've drawn so far and posting but they are 11 x 17. |

IT won't be the same but use a digital camera on macro setting and take a picture we would love to see it.
Also doing a mural in your home town? how cool is that? plus its good advertising.

Dope, Thans Ironfang, didnt even think about the digital cam way, just need to finish second one and i'll post em in bout a week. Giving 2nd to my wife for xmas.
Not in home town but only 30 minutes away in Bedford, Va. ;D
Now that I think bout it, I will still can play during week just not on weekends.

That would be a ton of work, but it sounds like a pretty cool project to undertake. When it comes to painting. I'm great at edging a room, but don't ask for me to create something.
And please take a picture of it. I'm thinking thats a great idea.
