Did you guys consider that maybe they're pretending not to understand? The first guy who listens to him tells his boss that they made a mistake, but then instead of getting into trouble (and a possible lawsuit) they decide to play dumb and hope that they average American will give up sooner or later. (I know I would have given up way before this guy)
It just strikes me as strange that these people who must have degrees in accounting or something (he talks to managers at the end...) could not understand what everyone here got within a few minutes.
