Bah, 20 something...I'm 36 and loved the show when it first came out....Now I enjoy it with my oldest son, whom I got hooked on it Of course my interest still in it could be that I'm just a kid at heart. At least that is the way I take it; especially when my wife tells me I'm the oldest 12 yr old shes ever met Amicus

OK, I'll say it. I'm not ashamed. I'm 40, and as a freshman in college I watched Transformers and will probably go see this movie for nostalgia and because it looks to be really good. And yes, if the original unedited Bugs Bunny cartoons were still on Saturday morning at 6 am, I'd be right there in the middle of it with a bowl of Crunch Berries. Amen to still being a kid at heart and enjoying the simple things in life.

man im 18 and im bring my ex girlfreind to it You setting up a date in July to see a movie with your ex-girlfriend? I am glad your relationship ended on amicable terms but July is a long way away, maybe you will have a new girl by then. Unless your Ex was a big Transformers fan, then I understand taking her but your new girlfriend probably won't. P.S. The HD trailer on Yahoo looks cool though, and I will likely go see it as well (will be leaving the wife behind, she will probably be laughing at me as I go). It will be one of the only summer movies that is not a sequel.

Personally I'm just hoping Michael Bay doesn't completely screw this up by his incessant need for things to blow up and "to hell with storyline" movies he's made lately.
It's already slated to be a 3-parter, so we should be expecting to see more characters in the next two, and rumor has it Unicron will either be revealed or cameo in the second, and be in the 3rd for certain. However, the story is nothing like it was in the original movie, so don't get your hopes up that it even closely resembles that, Bay made it pretty clear this is "his" vision of the Transformers, which is why they all look so different to what we're used to.
I'm going to see it, but I'm honestly not expecting much. I'm far too much of a traditionalist fan, Optimus shouldn't have flames (though if his attitiude is different, it can be accepted, and at least he stuck true to the blue and red), there's no reason for Bumblebee to have not only a larger frame, but more powerful car than Jazz (sad day when one of my favorite characters is usurped by the "sidekick" transformer), and last heard Megatron is some sort of futuristic jet, who never takes a "man-made" alternate form like the others.
Either way, if they pull off the "look" of the Transformers in the CG department, at the very least it would mean there's a good chance we could get a better director to release the original movie in live action, so we can see Hot Rod/Rodimus, Galvatron, and the like, all in full CG glory.
