I wonder if you tried the recent suggestion I read in Maximum PC magazine that says you can clean your keyboard (non-wireless) in the dishwasher, top rack, very little detergent, no hi-heat / sanitation / dry cycle. Then leave it upside down on a towel to dry 3-4 days.
I am so tempted to try. I work in the schools and they are so grimy, and I have lots of spares.

It does work. I have tried it with a old keyboard. I basically had to take a leaf blower at it to get "most" of the water out the first time.... I let it dry 2 weeks though. it didn't really get it as clean as I would like. And I threw it out, so I have no pics of it..
My suggestion is to pick up a new keyboard, I probally replace my microsoft ergo keyboard every 3 years.

Had a keyboard with some pop spilled on it, opened it up, rinsed the various plastic sheets that now make up the interior in the sink, took mere minutes to dry, and I was good to go. As for dirty keyboards, still one of my favorites: www.inktank.com/AT/index.cfm?nav=220(if that doesn't work try searching the site for 'board chow')
