HELP! I logged on with one character and no problem. I logged on with my highest character, np until I used the docks to go to another server. I ended up on the voyage ship, completely stripped of equipment, and my entire inventory was red x's except the pc scry tool and the save feather. When I logged out and back in with that character to another server, I was transported to the cheater's cell. What happened? Is this reversible? It took me along time to get that character to lvl 48/49 (one of the two). A little background info too, I upgraded to v 1.68 and had to revert to 1.67 cause it wouldn't let me log on in v 1.68. Did that have something to do with it? Why would my other character still work fine?
Signed, rebel5741 aka scared to log another high lvl character on in fears of loosing all his inventory as well.

It sounds as if your character got corrupted. I take it you used the docks portal? Pretty much the only way I can see that happening. I may have to offline them, they seem to be zapping a character every two seeks or so, and its becoming a real problem. Contact a dm online, point them to this post if needed, and get them to relevel you.

Thanks Funky, I did use the docks portal. My character appears to have all his lvls and XP, but when I tried to log in again using him, he ends up in encumbria with 358 items and again, all are red x's except the feather saver and the pc scry tool. I'm guessing that none of my items will revert back to normal. btw, all my other character's seem to be fine, but I'm avoiding using the dock portals for the time being.  |

Aye, if you're luck it just zapped your inventory. I'm gonna backup the vault tonight in case of future mishaps.

No such luck. Just logged in again, and not only did my entire inventory turn to red x's, all my feats are gone.  I guess I should look at it as a new opportunity to redo my wizard. *sob* |
