This idea is something that is very simple to implement (I could do it myself) so I wonder why it isn't in the module...
Since we have the great system to communicate our runs between servers, I thought it would be nice to have an easy way to move between servers. The toolset provides a mechanism for this with a "server portal."
My idea would be to have a line (or circle) of 6 portals where someone could move from their server to any of the other servers almost seamlessly. The script would be simple to implement: Save the character, then move them to the appropriate server.
The only part that might take a little work would be to write script so the portal to the server you are currently on will not function, though this may be included in the default functionality of the code...easy to test I think. That part is necessary so HG won't have to maintain 6 copies of the module.

HG used to have portals. They were removed because they caused occasional character corruption.

This is the same reason we don't do server portaling for the LL leveler instead of booting, actually. Some servers that use our LL system do because it's slicker, but the chance of corruption just isn't worth it. Funky
